Not surprising though. Rightstuf doesn't have the resources to do one. They act strictly as distribution for Sunrise and nothing more.

Yeah but in Southwest Asia they have a lot of English speakers and typically dub anime for the television in that region. That's where NIS America got their dub for Cardcaptor Sakura from. They couldn't find any dub at all to use?

It's bad enough ZZ didn't have one. But this is becoming an unsettling trend.

Could be a million reasons why they don't use an international english dub. Cost, quality, availability, Sunrise not wanting them to use them, etc,.

At any rate, I can't recall the last time Rightstuf included an original english dub in their release. Has to be not since the Captain Tylor/His and Her Circumstances days.

Gundam Build fighter was dubbed by the same company that did the Cardcaptors and it is terrible. If they can't fund a proper studio to dub it. I'd rather they not try otherwise.

Most of these Gundam series are old, probably the main reason they aren't getting dubbed. Anime is a nudge market and Gundam being a even smaller demographic. So not worth it for Rightstuf or Sunrise to try and dub the older Gundam.

ZZ has an Asian English dub made by Omni Productions, the fine fellas that brought us the amazingly bad dubs for 'Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky' and the Japanese Transformers series. The dubs for the Japanese Transformers series were so bad that Hasbro didn't allow Shout Factory to add those dubs to their DVDs.

Butt Fighters is really fun. It's hilarious how obvious they've made it into advertisement now, while still being great entertainment. It only took me a few minutes before I wanted to go on eBay and buy new Gunpla

Neat coincidence that they just published this, over at ANN. I finished watching the first two eps 20 minutes ago.

I really enjoyed it. The show made me want to buy some of the models too but I'd rather spend that cash on more anime since I don't have room for the figures I already have. Glad to hear you are liking the series so far though.

It won't be hard to get through the next 23 episodes, and Try will be out before we know it.

I have an untouched Gunpla sitting at my folks' house, but it's some sort of SEED antagonist, I think. I'd rather build Gundams I messed up the Zaku I made, years ago. The foot joint got ruined. Honestly, I think the plastic was bad

I don't have room for more figures either. I have to prioritise the Blu-rays. I am COMPLETELY running out of live action space, these days.

If any of your Gundam stuff hasn't shipped yet (luckily, RS still hasn't shipped my Build Fighters yet), I recommend cancelling the orders and re-ordering with coupon code NOZOMI16

Looks like I should avoid this series for the moment. I have at least 3 Gunpla sitting in my room that I haven't started.

Playing the Japan-only PS3 game Gundam Breaker has been my gateway to Gunpla. I've already built a Iron Blooded Orphns Barbaros kit, and I'm jonesing to put some Thunderbolt kits together.

God help me.

I bought a cheap set of Gunpla tools on eBay last night. I should try them on the one I have at my folks' place first

It's always awesome to see people pick up the hobby. I've been building Gunpla since the mid-90s and I love it.

My brother and I have so much unbuilt gunpla and other model kits that we'll probably never finish...

Skwege that display is awesome! I'd love to have something like that in my entertainment room but I don't have the patience to build them I think.

I have a few display cases full of various gunpla and die cast mecha. The cases themselves are the Detolf ones from IKEA and are really nice, affordable and rather easy to assemble. They work great for displaying anything and are easy to light up.

So, is eBay the best place to buy Gunpla? Even the 1/144 scale HG ones seem a bit expensive there to me, and Amazon seems to be a no-go. I tried adding one £8 model, and shipping was like £38 I'm sure a few sellers would have better shipping prices, but it's tedious to go through them all one by one.
