I recently bought the 55" model. The PQ is beautiful. If you can afford this TV, I highly recommend it.

My 3rd 940D is now bad, banding again! This one was a refurb from Sony. I contacted them and they are replacing it with a brand new 950G. It will be here next week. Can't wait to get this all set up.

That's a hell of an upgrade! Did you have any extended warranty purchase, or something?

On my last replacement, the refurbished set, there was a 2 year warranty through Sony. Their customer support has always been absolutely fantastic.

I recently bought the 65 inch from pc richards last month. Besides a little blooming in hdr contents this tv is close to perfect in terms of picture quality and i dont regret my purchase at all.

Bought a 65" a little over a week ago and so far I'm really happy with it as it is obviously a massive upgrade over my 40" LCD Samsung from 2010. Are there any recommended settings for video calibration out there?

I owned the x900E 55" for two years and upgraded to the x950G 65" and I absolutely love it and feel it,s a good step up from the x900e. The first thing I noticed is how much brighter it is. The 4 inputs also support HDR as opposed to only 2 and 3 on the x900e. Finally, the TV speakers are MUCH better. It also does Dolby Vision, although honestly I was never able to see the difference with HDR10.

I ordered the 55" version of this for 699 euros on Black Friday. Reviews say that the picture quality is great. I was also thinking about Q80T 50" but it didn't have Dobly Vision. This will be my first 4K TV.

What's the current equivalent of the XG950 in the Sony range at 55"? It looks like the X95 series starts at 65" inch now.

Starting last year Sony stopped making the 55-inch screen size for its X95 series. You'll need to step down to the X90K if you want a 55-inch.

I thought that was the case, if I do have to replace I'd lean towards 65", better than downgrading!
