With Blue Underground already having 10+ releases under their belt, and showing no signs of slowing, I figured this would be a good place to compile all of them.

I wonder if The Stendhal Syndrome will ever get a 4K treatment from BU. I know their last release of it came from a 2K remaster, but you gotta imagine that someone might be seeing dollar signs right now when it comes to Argento movies and UHD.

I'm hoping for Inferno (1980) and Venom (1981) on 4K UHD.

You're depriving yourself of watching a film because you want it to be in HD for your first or new first viewing. And this defense while predictable will always be the right answer: Before the HD era people had to rely on bootlegged tapes or other means which most of the time resulted in viewing a film whether obscure, rare, etc. in horrible quality. Someone's defense these days could be we're in a new time where we can experience this for the first time cleaned up and coherently well here's where I'll tear that down: To that pre-HD era it was about the film itself. It was about trying to watch it by any means. Now, people wont watch a movie with a serviceable 1080p transfer because they want it to be in 4k first..... Now? now it's not about the film it's about the technology to view it. Get over it guys. If you have a watch list and you're holding off because you want the highest HD release just really think if you're wanting to actually watch the film or the experience the technology. Everyone is extremely lucky that a lot obscure horror and non horror titles exist with a perfectly adequate DVD transfer and things that are still stuck on VHS at least get better rips by people who give a shit about the film. What's worse is that people are choosing the "first time only in HD" for films that aren't even too obscure. For me personally I'll watch a film I own and if a newer, better version is announced not too far along I snag it and enjoy once more. I can watch pretty much any movie in my collection again anywhere from a few days to a week apart. I'm convinced people who use the statement above are not about the film itself and that's sad. |

Do we know if the Limited Edition 4Ks are the only time BU will release these films in that format?
It would be nice if films like Daughters of Darkness and Dead & Buried were available in standard editions without the CD and lenticular covers for a cheaper price. |

I totally get why everyone wants Inferno the most (and I would love it too), but my favorite film in the whole BU catalog is probably Night Train Murders. That's the one I want more than anything.
