They have B Stock on the website, but I didn't find the MFW-15 on there. So, I called and asked and was told there was plenty of B-stock in all finishes for the MFW-15. So, just call them if you are interested in B-stock. They can take your order over the phone.

Congratulations on your order Stimpson. You'll love this sub for sure. I only have one, and it vibrates my sofa, the stuff on the mantle, and I once even heard stuff rattling in a kitchen cabinet (when Iron Man emerged from the cave). I've been holding off on giving the MFW more recommendations due to the QC issues, if they've gotten everything worked out finally that's awesome.

Yes, you will love it like your first born.

Just remember that with every subwoofer it'll need proper placement. Move it around the room until you get it where it sounds best to you. It took me a little while to find the sweet spot.

I would be very weary right now about ordering from AV123.
WAYYYY too many unhappy customers.

This is a real shame, as I actually have the $$$ and really, really want to buy one of these monsters.

If you get one that works, I promise you won't be disappointed. If you get a lemon, though......you're probably on your own.

You should wait to see what everyone says about the new wave of them with the new amps that supposedly are fixed. If they say it works, do it!

I agree. I have mine ordered, but I should hear some feedback on the new amps before I get mine. Of course only time will tell on the new amps in a true home environment. Still to get a top performing sub at this price is worth the risk, IMHO.

Just do it. You won't be disappointed. The new subs should be with the new amps and they do claim that it's the all time fix. Failure rate is low and I'm sure they will be lower with the new amps if not zero. I'm a fan so hate me, but even with all the trash talk I would still get one. That shows how much I love them even when the true fans talk crap about them. Even the fanboys that talk trash still buy their brand.

Problem is, even the biggest fanboys of av123 turned away from them. They did f'up alot from the electronics, to the MFW-15's failing, to huge setbacks with products like the LS9's and constant changing of suppliers.

My buddy has dual MFW-15's. They really really are awesome. I want one in the diamond finish myself, but honestly this company has just gone downhill hard over the past 8 months. It really is a shame IMO, as they had an amazing following and were all the talk for awhile. But thats wh at happens when you take peoples money for pre-orders and never deliver lol.

Well i had a few conversations with Kyle over at AV123, and i decided to give the MFW-15 a chance along with av123... I was an active member of that forum for some time and then was turned off after all the issues, and i was really disappointed in them from a personal standpoint.

But after the conversations we've had, it appears like they are getting there act back together again.

But anyway looks like i'll have a Diamond Black MFW in 2-3 weeks

Congratz! We can either sing AV123 praises or curse them together.

I bet the diamond black will look incredible. I'm going with satin black myself.

I'm really not going to worry about all the internet ramblings. Considering how much my new fence (Strom blew down the 15 yr old craptastic fence I had before) is going to cost this is a small amount to gamble with. If they do get their act together and get a solid working MFW-15 out the door in the next couple of weeks I'll be one happy camper...just hope I don't knock down my new fence while playing Cloverfield at reference...

I'm hoping the diamons will be nice, i just wanted something with a little "zing" lol. The satin black ones ar nothing to wrinkle the nose about though, my buddy has dual satin black MFW's and they are Sa-Weeeet.

Sorry to hear about the fence, we have had a ton of storms here lately too...its been like hurricane season in the midwest! haha. But anyway, im sure AV123 tried really hard on this amp, they know this is a make it or break it moment for them

anyway can't wait to test it out in my place, and thanks for the reminder of Cloverfield

Congrats bigred. I was starting to feel a little left out as it seems I'm one of the very few around here with an MFW.

Yeah I think if word starts getting out from guys such as yourself and stimpsonjcat that the new amps are reliable then more and more people will start buying them again. I really hope AV123 gets things turned back around.

Now that is sexy!

bigred7078,

You are going to have one superb setup once that sub gets in your setup. It is top notch now, but this just tops it off. Just fantastic!

Jason

Jason

thanks alot man, i appreciate that

I know how well these do for HT, so im hoping to implode my room

P.S.- the STL GTG is set in stone for July 25th. I believe around 30 or so people are set to attend so you should definately head over to that (more details on directions later). Emotiva is bringing almost ALL of their gear too so it should be a blast! The host (Mac) has an entire AV123 Rocket HT system (850's, Bigfoot, 450's, MFW-15) in his main room and basement . Several of us are bringing different stuff too. I think my buddy is bringing is MA RS8's and i might be bringing my Viennas and come cables and stuff, perhaps the ole RPA-1.

I would love to come!

Not sure if I would feel to good about hauling my RS6s anywhere!

I will be an Emotiva owner by then though, so I will feel a bit more welcome!
