Yeah, that attitude makes no sense. Don't ya think jesus wants you to take care of yourself so you'll be around and in good health to take care of your loved ones? Can you say selfish?

Breakfast today:

1 Hard boiled egg
Drink - 1 cup of coffee followed by 3 cups of water

I'm going to try and not drink any more coffee today. Some days at work though...

Going for a jog when I get home then Ab Ripper X after.

I'm 5' 6", and just got back down to 200 lbs. The most frustrating thing is a drink a total of maybe 15 beer a month and I'm type 1 diabetic so due to the lifestyle I live because of the disease, I'm forced to stay away from simple sugars. My caloric intake is about half of every guy I know. If I add beer, it's even less.

While growning up, I was a rail. You couldn't find a skinnier kid. There are pictures of me at my 18 b-day changing into shirt I got. You could count my ribs. I weighed in at a massive 135lbs. I turned 18 and my metabolism didn't just slow down, it turned off. With no change in my lifestyle, I put on weight solid for about a yr. About 50 lbs. I still can't figure how something like that could happen.

Now I'm 36. Been married 13 yrs, and in that time, I put on about 25 more pounds. Hit 210 and said this is ridiculous. Really cut down the size of my dinner and squeeze a lot more veggies in my face. Seems to working. I'm not in a rush, but it sure makes things hard with little to no results.

I've been workign out for 3 weeks now with no "results". My weight might have fluctuated within a 5 pound range but other than having more energy and not being out of breath I don't have anything to show for my effort.

That's the way it goes. You just need to go and do it. My friends have told me it it will take 1-3 months to see any difference. It took my brother 6 months to notice any difference and a year to lose all the weight he wanted to. Now he's in great shape.

Use Egg Beaters next time or egg whites. Whole wheat bread instead of tortillas. OJ is fine but water is better.

What kind of oil did you use? Try using only extra virgin olive oil.

Which is why I like hardboiled eggs. I'm going to try and go a week without carbs.

It's going to be hard cause of my habits but I think with enough veggies and meat I should be fine.

If you can get the egglands best eggs, those are very low in carbs and cholesterol.

What kind of OJ are you drinking? Hopefully it's not that Sunny D crap. Only drink 100% juice with NO additives.

Breakfeast is the most important meal of the day. I make sure to eat at least 500-700 calories. I usually down a bannana and big bowl of high fiber cereal. My caloric intake will prolly be different then yours, i'm trying to put on some muslce right now so i'm eating around 3500 calories a day.

Also, make sure it is whole wheat and not enriched at all. Look at the ingridients, it'll be the first thing listed.

WHOOOOOOAAAAA don't do away with carbs! Carbs are ESSENTIAL to a healthy body. It is a HORRIBLE misconception that carbs are the enemy. Do some research on it and I think you'll change your mind about no carbs.

Edit: If you're trying to lose weight try a lowfat diet first.1 gram of fat = 9 calories and 1 gram of carbs = 4.

Yeah when I asked a friend he said the same thing, it's the type of carbs you take in.

Whole grain bread. Brown rice. Stuff like that. Unprocessed carbs are what you are looking for.

I think Uncle Ben has whole grain. There's one that my brother-in-law buys that's like .99/pound but it's from a specialty market.

You can get whole grain tortilla rolls too. They are good. Throw some salsa on there, a little turkey bacon. Yummy.

A good small light quick meal that is (A brand called Bush is good) seasoned pinto beans. heat it up in a small pot with some chopped Onions and tomatoes. If you like spicy, add some jalapenos or hot sauce. Also add this

Makes beans taste even better.

I usually can only finish half a can in one sitting. Try also, if you have more time using fresh dried pinto beans instead of canned.
