For a while, you could buy brand new PSB speakers on Ebay for very low prices. If you don't mind, how much did you pay for yours?

NOOOOO! Fedex was supposed to deliver them today but now they are delayed until THURSDAY! The wait is killing me! I think it was due to the flooding out west so Im not complaining too much.

Anyone on the forums have these yet? Audiogon has a sweet deal on these right now(used)...better deal than I got. (mine are brand new)

Pics are up, as you can see I am no photographer....

Words cannot describe how good the new PSBs are. You have to hear it to believe it!

Soundstage is HUGE, Center fill effect (sounds like its coming out of the center channel during 2 channel listening) is much more present, Highs come through flawlessly with NO harshness, Midrange clarity is UNBELIEVEABLE, and Low frequencies are tight and controlled, the HSU picks up the rest. Everything is soooo SWEET!

The highly recommend the PSB Image S50 surrounds for anyone in the market for bipoles. DMC electronics has great prices and ship right to your door.

I am Hugely impressed with my setup and I think it may have cured my audio upgraditis!

My Video upgraditis is a different story, I will post more pics up when I eventually get my Panasonic V10 or a KURO 111FD.

PAUL and SUE BARTON ROCKS!

They're beauts! Audio game is ready to go - what's that TV you're running? I can't focus on it since I'm still drooling over the aesthetics of the Imagines.

Love your new PSB's! They are beautiful speakers!!! Good job and choice! Video upgraditis doesn't infect me as much as audio upgraditis. My worst infection is DIY-itis!!! I'm starting to work on possible speaker designs!!!

PSB_Paradigm_HSU,

That is a really good deal on those speakers! I have been searching a couple of months for the whole set of imagine speakers (towers, center, and surrounds), but I have not found a price that comes close to yours.

If you are comfortable with it, could you post or pm me the place where you ordered them? It would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations on your new set.

If you want to bring the price of the total package down I suggest getting PSB Image S50's as surrounds. Very good for the money and I got them from DMC electronics (great buying experience).

I own a pair of PSB Image S50 surround speakers. The list price is $750 per pair. I bought them brand new in unopened factory box for $550 from Ebay. They are excellent surround speakers.

Agreed bigdaddy, the S50s are impressive!

For those looking for home theater on a budget, look into getting these as a foundation. Cheaper surrounds and subs can be used and replaced (with another pair of B1's perhaps) along down the line, but these will provide a GREAT start to a great HT (and 2 channel music).

Fronts: PSB Alpha B1 ($199)
Center: PSB Alpha C1 (179)

The Zoof has this exact set up, maybe he can chime in and give his opinion.

That's right!

I bought these as an impulse buy due to some recommendations on these forums. My original HTIB speakers just weren't cutting it.

I originally picked up the Alpha's for front speakers. I originally wanted them to improve music when I use lossless sound. They worked amazingly well!

I couldn't believe the clarity and "oomph" of such a small speaker. The only problem at this time was they were overpowering my center speaker so I had to upgrade that too. That was an even larger improvement.

The biggest difference overall was now I hear things in movies that I didn't hear before even with speakers that I thought were "decent".

The price, the package and the quality can't be beat.

I am very impressed by PSB and the speakers I purchased.
