Yeah, it's got something alright. I like it. It's so weird.

Lucio Fulci's Touch of Death has a release date of January 2019, via Raro Video on Facebook.

Live Like a Cop, Die Like a Man will also be released by Raro, btw.
But if you're region free player, get the German release which is better than 88's.

How come almost all of their specs say "New digital HD transfer from original 35mm negative, Digitally restored and remastered", yet almost all of their discs look like utter shit?

Couldnít agree more. Meet Him And Die and Stunt Squad were pathetic. As a huge fan of Euro Crime I was insulted.

Even Code Red with Bill and all his musings put out two solid releases with Almost Human and The Violent Professionals. And I’m sure Street Law will be a solid to. Let’s hope Raro doesn’t get their hands on Violent Rome or Violent Naples.

At least we know Grindhouse Releasing has Rome Armed to the Teeth AKA The Tough Ones coming sooner than later

Yes Iím super excited, itís probably between that one, Violent Naples or Almost Human for my favourite poliziotteschi. Should be out early next year and hopefully itís not the last from Grindhouse.

The only other title I can recall them mentioning releasing in the future was ďScum of the EarthĒ

Is the Italian track, English language with Italian inserts?

A few years ago, Scum of the Earth was imminent and being promoted online. Then, it faded into the background as Grindhouse put out The Beyond, I Drink Your Blood and Cat in the Brain. Folks were wondering about Scum when The Tough Ones suddenly popped up on the radar (or, at least, I was).

I suspect the issue is the condition of the print. One of the guys from Vinegar Syndrome mentioned online last year that they did the transfer for Grindhouse, and that the materials for Scum were the most faded that they had ever seen. It's possible that either more restoration work is needed, or that too much is needed and the release is scuttled, or that they are hoping to find better materials to work with.

Anybody pick this up? Or know of any sites that have reviewed it or, at least, screencapped it?
