Default Blank Check and Richie Rich (1994) - Any fans?

I rarely hear these movies get talked about, but I really liked them when I was younger. I always kind of associated them with one another even though they don't have much in common other than they're both from 1994, and dealing with a kid with access to lots of money. Any other fans of either of these? I haven't seen them since I was a kid, so I don't know how well they hold up today.

Blank Check

Richie Rich:

Never seen Blank Check, but absolutely LOVE Richie Rich. Even though there's a decent HD version on streaming sites I still hope it comes out on Blu-ray someday.

Both of these are childhood favorites for me. Seeing as they are 20 years old this year, I'd love to see some Anniversary Edition Blu-ray releases!

Everyone knows the way to a woman's heart is a pocket full of all you can eat buffet food. My wife and I must thank Blank Check for all of its wisdom. We're currently near the bottom of our stash right now, btw.

I liked these movies a lot as a kid but I can't picture myself buying them now as an adult. If I had kids and thought they might find them funny, then maybe. I'd give them a go on streaming, though.

They're no Sandlot but I do remember them quite fondly too. Although I also don't see myself buying them either unless they're bargain bin and even then...

I can only speak for Blank Check; the presentation I saw on Hulu last night was pretty solid and a huge improvement over the old non-anamorphic dvd. Still love this movie and always thought Brian Bonsall was a good child actor for roles like this and Mikey where he's essentially playing a loner with a dark secret to hide. Rick Ducommun, though, is without a doubt the highlight while rewatching this as an adult -- his The Burbs-like diatribes in several scenes are pretty hilarious. You just have to completely shut your mind off while watching it; my girl and I were laughing at the thought of a huge mansion nearly closing for like ~170k. A blu would be cool, though Disney doesn't care to surprise much with these kind of flicks.

Richie Rich was just okay, but I remember really liking Blank Check as a kid and was happy to see it show up on Hulu. I'd like to see Blus for both, if only because at least Blank Check was non-amamorphic on DVD (not sure about Richie Rich).

Even my parents love BC. We have watched that movie many times over the years. I actually don't care too much for RR, but I'll buy it. I have BC on DVD.

I enjoyed them both a lot in my childhood, and would love to own them on Blu-Ray. I was saddened by the passing of Edward Hermann, since his character was so funny and lovable.

I caved and bought it digitally a few months ago. Wish I could say that meant a Blu-ray was incoming, but I bought Twins digitally years ago and we're still waiting on that.

Definitely both want this Blank Check and Richie Rich Blu-ray in the future. Late Miguel Ferrer & John Larroquette did terrific job as villians role. Must be Blank Check on Disney Movie Club and Richie Rich will be Warner Archive Collection.

Come on, Disney and Warner... release Blu-ray please

I saw Richie Rich on cable in the 1990s. Why was Richie Rich at Mount Rushmore after his parents? Richie Rich wasn't very good so they delayed the movie 15+ years! Rich kids travel the world and Richie ends up inside Mount Rushmore? Strange.
