Would love to see a complete set of this. I actually don't mind this show in 16x9 mostly coz of how open the framing is on the 4x3 versions. Most shows cropped look really bad

If it's in HD (1080p or above) i'd take it in 4x3 or 16x9 cropped.
I'd prefer the 4x3 HD since you get the original intent and framing with no loss of image.
Pillar box doesn't bother me.

16x9 cropped is ok if they properly do pan & scan were nothing relevant to the scene is lost.

I could have sworn I once saw a Seinfeld set on BluRay at my Best Buy, but I didn't get it because I had the DVDs. Then later I wished I had because it would have saved a lot of space. Am I remembering something else? Did they somehow cram all the episodes into a really compact DVD package at one point?

Looks like the series may have gotten a new 4k scan as it will be coming to Netflix in that resolution in 2021.

Full frame?

While The Wire Blu-ray set, for example, turned out ok, I definitely want 4:3.

Netflix will probably end up streaming the widescreen version, but hopefully they're remastered in OAR as well

I doubt Seinfeld will be released on BD.

If it was I'd definitely prefer them to open up the sides as much as possible, but still keep most of the top and bottom...maybe resulting in a ~1.37 ratio?
