The only one i saved is very personal and near to my heart. I will post it when i get a chance to scan it, but one of my heroes was Michael Turner, and the first con i went to was the pittsburgh comic con and he happened to be there and i got a head sketch of Batman done.
Glad you are enjoying the thread, you should scan and post here, I am sure lots of people would like to see your Batman one.

Turner was fantastic. One of the absolute best in the biz. Such a shame we lost him so soon.
Thank goodness you hung onto that. I'd cherish it as well.

Severe is probably an understatement: Heritage Auction.

That said, I may just have to bid. Anyone interested in my left kidney?

Nothing like a little art to peruse with the morning coffee, eh?

Kyle Baker's Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum

David Hutchison & Rod Espinosa's Alice meets Dorothy
(one of my FAVORITE pieces!)

Angel Medina's Mad Hatter

Joe Pekar's Alice

Funny, I've got a few more Alice-related pieces but don't see them in my comp's art file. I guess I'll have to shoot'em so that I can post'em! In addition to Matt Wagner's Grendel, I'm quite fanatical when it comes to Lewis Carroll's Alice.

Yeah that is his style and quite unique. I had heard that for awhile Bruce wasn't doing Batman in his sketches, but I wasn't sure. I had this done last March at a convention and his line for sketches fills up VERY fast. Basically people line up as soon as the doors open (like they do for other artists) and he tells everyone he takes 20 names per day, and the price is $100 and he only does one character on a sketch. You can pick the character you want, so since I was starting a Batman-themed sketchbook I figure I would go with Batman himself to start the book off. Really nice guy he is too.

Pardon me being in the reflection of the Thor picture, and the poorer quality of the Nightwing picture. This is my collection of art from 5 comic conventions over the past 4 years. NOTE: None of these are commissioned works all just art prints bought from artists portfolio books, I didn't see a thread in here for just comic art in general so apologies if this isn't the correct place to post my art.

this is an awesome thread. for those who might be interested, Comic Artist Oliver Nome is selling off a lot of his art and commissions.
His stage 4 brain cancer has returned and he's undergoing chemo so he's selling some art to help pay his bills.
http://olivernome.deviantart.com/ here is his deviantart page
and here is a link about his cancer battle/fund is anyone wanted to read up on it

I've got quite a bit in the way of sketches and published art. Here's one to start you off.
