Default DC/ Marvel Absolute editions

Not sure if anyone is interested in buying DC Absolute editions or Marvel omnibuses but I stumbled upon a site that sells these versions for significantly cheaper than the list price of $99.99, around $54.99.

http://www.cheapgraphicnovels.com/

Just click on superheroes and a submenu will appear directing you to the absolute/omnibus page. This site is great for any comic buyer as most graphic novels are discounted around 45% with many rare or out of print books available for sale.

Thank you Stilgar for posting the link. I was out of touch with comics for a few years up until 2007. This will help me out.

Great site. I've been doing business with them for a while now.

I have to get rid of my omnibus collection for financial reasons but not sure how to go about doing it. Ebay would be the most obvious choice, but I hear a lot of stories about sellers getting ripped off by dishonest buyers and I want to avoid that. Also I am in Canada so shipping would be a lot higher. There are local comic shops but I will be lucky if I get 40% of the cover price selling it to them. The only other option is to sell it locally on Kijiji but then that site is full with lowballers and no shows. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

I've sold a lot of my stuff through the comicswap subreddit, but I live in the US and I'm not sure how many Canadians peruse that page. You could always give it a try, though.

I checked it out and after looking at the rules it seems like if you don't have any trader feedback you have to send the book out first. Too much of a risk sending out an OOP book worth $200-$300 without getting payment first. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Of all the junk Marvel puts out as Omnibus hardcovers (anything to do with the Bronze Age or Infinity crap), I'm bummed out they never Omnibiied two of their very best runs:

Punisher Max by Ennis # 1-60

Amazing Spider-Man by Straczynski and Romita Jr. # 30(471)-508

I don't know if it's hate over One More Day or what, but these stories absolutely deserve to be given special treatment and are as much a part of Marvel's modern history as other "beloved" runs they trot out over and over.
