they probably signed with CMV, that's my guess, as most major cult labels go there.

An online store is a great idea...

I love Shout Factory so I have nothing against them but there are certain films I'd love for other labels to handle and Hell Night is one of them (yes I've had a change of heart . Slasher Video is a relatively new label but everything I've seen and read about them so far has me very excited for future titles. They're actually restoring films, where SF works with what they're given most of the time. S//V may be a small label with (probable) limited means but if this results in better quality stuff, even if the titles are few and far between, I'll take quality over quantity. Another thing is cover artwork. I don't know if that Satan's Blade art is original or not but it's fantastic and it'll look great on a Blu-ray case. I love original art and prefer it over revisionism, floating heads or even commissioned art. Every label has it's ups and downs but the balance will tip over to the favorable side if there are more positives than negs.

So do I. I always flip the artwork over to the original on my Scream Factory movies.

...And still no update on Satan's Blade. Are we now looking at a 2015 release?

It sure doesn't seem very convincing that 2015 will be "big" at all.

Nope. They can't even get this one film released when they said they would.

Slasher Vid's initial 7 DVD releases look great together on the shelf. I snagged them all in their original colored cases and all as limited numbered/autographed copies (with the exception of Cemetery Sisters, which I don't believe was ever offered as such). The only one I've gotten no enjoyment out of was title 007, Cinco de Mayo. None of the other films are particularly "well made" but they're at least plenty of fun.

I'm happy to support this dude and his obvious passion for what he's doing. I wish I were out there doing the same thing. Really looking forward to the Blu release of Satan's Blade. I hope he continues to put care into these restorations. My only major gripe is the compression and video noise on some of the DVD titles due to so much being crammed onto a single DVD. Hopefully that won't be a problem once they transition to Blu (although that doesn't stop Shout/Scream from royally fudging things up on a regular basis).

I'd say The Prey or Silent Madness.

Fatal Games is one of my favorite unreleased slashers, I just don't want to get my heart set on it tbh.

Didn't Code Red post a while ago that they have the rights to Fatal Games but could not find elements? Or was it someone else?

I doubt it's THE PREY for Slasher said he got it from the director. I know Edwin and Summer Brown, and when I inquired about THE PREY they told me it was financed by Roger Corman's company, which then got sold off to the new version of New World, which then went to Lakeshores, so unless something changed, its still with Lakeshores, so Image should release it one day, hopefully. .
