It's generally just current media that gets added, so digital, DVD, Blu-ray and UHD BDs. Some of the older consoles were current generations when they added.

This (and its Phase 2 counterpart) got released in my country, in this box, but missing all the DVDs, bonus discs, and bonus physical contents. So it's barebones. I have the info ready to go, just need to find out how to add it.
If you click on the Add New Country/Edition link and change the appropriate data I think it should work!

This is my first post. I am posting links to editions that I can’t find on here. As soon as I’m allowed, I will add them unless someone does it before me. Hopefully, there is nothing wrong with me doing this because it will help me keep track of what isn’t there.

Hi - I'm new here. It appears I don't yet have rights to add a title, so I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to do so on my behalf. I believe the title is currently out of print, so I don't see it for sale on amazon.com or in the Discovery Channel shop. If more information is needed than what is provided below, please let me know and I will try to assist. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

This would for the TV on DVD database.

Title: Worst Case Scenario with Bear Grylls
Season: 1 of 1
Studio: Discovery Communications
Year: 2010
Time: 264 minutes
Discs: 2
Region: 1

Since there are so many people having difficulty adding a new title to the database, why doesn't Blu-ray.com post an official statement explaining the process?

OK, so I am stating the obvious in order to reach the desired 10 post threshold.

I have been wondering, eventually will all (or most) of the movies now on blu-ray come out on 4k Ultra? Or does it not work like that?

New release will in most cases, but catalogue releases will depend on the movie and the distributor.

You should see it when you go to an edition already in the database, it's next to Add new movie.

Do you mean next to the film symbol and heart symbol, underneath the photo of the blu-ray cover (center/left side of screen)?

No, that symbol will be above the genres list then userneath that there is a line of selectable text buttons:

Overview Blu-ray review Screenshots Packaging User reviews Region coding News Forum

Underneath that there is another line of selctable text (my red highlight):

Edit movie | Edit cast & crew | Upload covers | Add new country/edition | Add new movie

Some of the selectables only show up if you've been a member long enough and have made enough contributary posts AIUI but the actual figures are kept secret to stop robots and spammers learning how to trick the system. Being a Junior Member you may not qualify yet; just keep chatting, being helpful and stay an active member and it'll appear for you at some point if it's not there already.

I now see exactly what you are talking about. I am missing the entire second line of items starting with "Edit movie". But at least now I know where to look. Thank you your detailed explanation, my friend. I really appreciate it.

I read somewhere under this multi-year topic that to add a new movie or edition, not only must one post a minimum of 10 forum entries but one must wait for about a month after becoming a bluray.com member.

Can anyone confirm this? Thank you.

I am curious about the post requirement as well. I have seen conflicting answers about this on different threads. I am also don't understand why that is necessary. I'm a cataloger, not a poster. So now I have to make random posts just so I can contribute to the database?
