One of the best American films of the '60s. It would seem to be ideal for Criterion. But Warner Archive has really missed the boat here.

I did not know that! I have the 2006 DVD which is fine but this is a masterpiece. It needs to be treated as such.

I'm sure at some stage (the sooner the better) this will turn up on Blu Ray either via Warner Archives, Criterion or even another label.

It’s on my “10 most wanted” list, amazing movie. Directed by Richard Lester, the cinematographer was Nicolas Roeg just before he went into directing films and with it’s non-linear chronology, this feels like a Nicolas Roeg film far more than a Richard Lester movie. I always wondered who influenced who there. The plot is like a screwball comedy, played as a tragedy. And of course the movie looks stunning.
