Question Any chance of Veronica Mars TV series coming to Blu-ray?

I was wondering if anyone thinks there's a chance this will come to BD. Amazon has a sale on the DVD and I don't want to invest in that if it's going to be available in HD any time soon. It would probably be speculation but I figured some of you guys would have an educated guess/opinion.

Sorry for posting in the wrong section, didn't know this would be considered a wish list.

Very unlikely. It's a cult show and it was shot Super16mm and isn't flashy at all.

You're probably right, although I watched season 3 in HD and it looked good enough. Probably not enough of a market for them to put it out.

It's still film and could look pretty good. Season 3 was broadcast in HD I believe, and seasons 1 and 2 are available in HD on iTunes and look pretty darn good. I'd love to see a BD release of this, wonder if Warner Home Video will ever get down to it.

Not much hope for a UK release though, it's not even out on DVD here! I had to import the Australian boxet to get a complete series set of it.

It will eventually come to BD, everything with a chance for sale does.

In australia it sold pretty well I believe. Just in rental availablity they made some cash. Every major chain has it.

Im sick of TV shows on DVD being sold for 100$ + when the market should demand BD releases of these shows for up to 150 for a 3 season boxset.

I love veronica mars. I felt it portrayed a girl/woman in probably the best way ever on a television series. Cult or not this is an important series that breaks the mold big time

A barrage of emails to Warner Archive is probably the most effective way. It got them to release izombie. I'd happily splurge on a complete series set.

Anyone knows why the Season 1 DVD in PAL doesn't have the Extended Pilor Opening scene even though it says it is in it?

With the new Hulu season of Veronica Mars coming soon, I hope it spikes an interest in getting the first three seasons on Blu-ray!

Wouldn’t mind Warner Archive getting around to releasing all 4 season of Veronica Mars on blu ray. It should happen

I still hope it happens, but a lot of fans are...less than happy with season 4 so that might actually hurt sales.
