Anyone know if there is an Amazon US listing? I am unable to preorder this directly though their website for some reason. There are no shipping options available. I was able to for No Way Home when that was announced. Have they stopped offering US shipping?

Clue: 3-D IS UNIVERSAL.
The listing for Dominion is actually up on the RSM website

If we can get JW Dominion on 3D surely that means Sing 2 and Minions Rise of Gru are in the pipeline as well.

Not necessarily, Sing 2 was out first and was skipped for JWD. I would say Universal keep em coming but prioritize the regular live action flicks and give the kiddie animated flicks a “time out” for awhile

Ok, your "prioritize the regular live action flicks" theory, would mean, Fast & Furious and Bond sometimes.

I hope for Sing 2 after JWD. It has a digital 3D version already.

Just take my money RSM!! I thought the film sucked and the 3D looked poor in the Cinema I visited BUT I know this will look fab on my 108" screen. PLUS we get the JW Series completed in 3D. Today is a great day :-)

So glad we're getting another big live action flick. No offense to anyone that enjoys animation, I'll just always take a live action blockbuster over any animated movie for 3d at this point.

I enjoyed JWD but I also have watched both editions and had said it's extended edition every time, so I guess I'll be making an exception for the 3d version and can watch the 4k disc once in a while too and justify its existence.

Well, glad I skipped the flat release. Not a great movie, but should be a lot more fun in 3D. Definitely a win for RSM!

This also increases my hopes substantially for some sort of Jaws 3D release.

Personal taste, and all that... But as someone who checked out just a little later than you (GoldenEye was my last Bond), Casino Royale is really fantastic.

I mean, it's not fantastic, which is what makes it great!

I didn't care for any Craig movies after that...

But Casino Royale was top notch.

(Unless you're just in it for the gags, the one liners, and rampant sexualization of women, then it's probably a pass).

It's not in 3d.

I'll show myself out (to another thread).

Uh, Go Jurassic World Dominion!

I'll have to make my own 3D Extended Hybrid.

I do not mean to sound ungrateful, but, I'm quite sure RSM can talk and chew gum at the same time...in other words, this 3D (DOMINION) is not enough for 2022, CHRISTMAS is right around the corner and I need more than just one gift...Here is my SANTA list...
BOND, James 3D ...Sing 2 3D, Jaws 3D, Minions 3D...I want what's coming to me! ...for CHRISTMAS...I deserve more.

hahah LOL... be happy with what they give us. Dominion is most likely the last one for 2022, anything else will now have to wait for 2023 that its just how they operate, one title at a time. Remember they are a small company.

We're overlooking one thing. Random Media and others, along with the production companies, wouldn't still be releasing or selling these 3D discs, even in limited quantity, if there wasn't a profit to be made.

Which makes the argument for releasing more 3D on Blu-ray, even if limited in quantity.

Are you aware how small RSM is?

$8 million a year - that's what Disney probably spends on paper clips per year.

Hi Lee

Maybe so, but from a business perspective, if there's a bit more revenue to be made after expenses - and it doesn't hinder manpower or investment in other more profitable venues - it will at least lessen the cost of those paperclips which is what budget management would be looking at. .

And for a small vendor like RSM, that small but additional revenue would mean more than paperclips.

Whether this will apply to 3D Blu-ray down the road we don't know. But the small amount of 3D discs being released overseas would instead be non existent if there wasn't some sort of bottom line advantage for manufacturer and vendor.

As they indicate... their focus is the client... that is what is lacking on the big corporations these days.

And with 3D library being added to their sales their revenue will rise for sure as they become more known outside Australia.

You are forgetting about streaming. The studios are now doing business with the end user (client) for the first time. No middle man involved. They make recommendations based on viewing history, send e-mails for available merchandise that can be purchased. They have made it easy to subscribe and unsubscribe to their service.

3D is a niche. What they need is a mass market content product. Somehow license a movie from a Hollywood studio that will make them some real money. Like selling 50,000 units. Not 3000.

I still believe studios will drop streaming due to running energy costs and substantial subscription drops not even low cost subscriptions will prevent them from returning to physical mediums.

I wasn't saying about just 3D movies, i was saying that because they do sell 3D movies the more people happen to know them and can buy other medium formats from them outside Australia because they got exclusives and collector editions that other places don't.
