Germany The Official Subkultur Entertainment Thread

A very fine German label which has done some quite wonderful restorations and are working on some very exciting projects. We will begin covering their releases on the site, so hopefully this thread will help our members monitor their output.

Hey guys,

The remaining releases are intentionally left out. Some are older are not English-friendly and some are not sold at Amazon.. I could post links only, if needed.

Werewolf Shadow has English subs and is available direct from Amazon, just that they are the most expensive so the recommended seller is a marketplace seller fulfilled by them. Excellent release it is too.

Thanks for this It caused me to go to DiabolikDVD.com and order a copy! From what I can tell that release is english friendly doesn't seem to have forced subs. (region free here)

It's a fantastic release, no forced subs, Eng friendly. 2 different aspect ratios. Audio comm, interviews, Booklet etc...

Comes in a DVD case with slipcover. Highly recommended

Don't Go Into the House is a fine release. Easily worth the money for fans of the film.

I wonder whether Scorpion will ever get around to release theirs? Would be happy to support them, too.

I asked how the new materials might affect the release date. They answered that it might be early summer depending on what else might be unearthed. Personally, I'm happy to wait considering how well this looks to be shaping up.

I've been hearing about the title Deathdream a bit recently (in a good way). Have to admit, have never heard of the films Bloody Friday and Deadlock. Regarding the former, is it similar in tone to the films Come Cani Arrabbiati and San Babila?

There's a film I'd like to suggest as a possible future Subkultur title, a 1974 film called Supermarkt.

For anyone who missed out on the DiabolikDVD Exclusive LE of Switchblade Sisters, they have just put a handful up on their site, along with a message on their FB page:

$26.99 (+ Shipping)

http://www.diabolikdvd.com/category/...Region%29.html

We initially put aside a (sizable) chunk of the LE Switchblade Sisters for conventions, but they didn't sell so we are making them available to you now on the site and with some available at our Exhumed Films exfest this weekend. And if those don't sell this weekend, the remainder will be available online in the near future.
Limited to 1 per customer. Strictly enforced.

I know Bloody Friday is a kickstarter exclusive, but will there be a version available for non-backers?

Yup, i think the kickstarter was just to gather the materials. There will be an official release as well.
