Default Favorite Old-School Nickelodeon Cartoon

So I come home from work tonight and my sister has it on TeenNick and what's on?! None of than Rocko's Modern Life. I have never seen it on TeenNick before. It's always been the likes of Hey Arnold! Doug. As well as some of the other live-action shows. Anyways, watching these shows makes me realize how much I miss the old Nick and these cartoons. Nickelodeon these days seems to be full of shows about actors/actresses trying to be musicians trying to be actors/actresses. It isn't even fun to watch. That brings me to this poll, what it you your favorite old-school Nickelodeon cartoon? While I always enjoyed most of the old cartoons, I was always partial to Rugrats and Doug. To, me they were the most entertaining. Btw, I deliberately left out the live-action shows as it would have made the list too long. Maybe I'll start another poll for that. Anyways, now it's your turn? What's your favorite old-school Nick cartoon?

CatDog, Rocket Power and Rocko's Modern Life.

One fine day with a woof and a purr
a baby was born and it cause a little stir
no blue buzzard
no three-eyed frog
just a feline canine little CatDog

CatDog!
CatDog!
alone in the world is a little CatDog!

out on the road or back in town
all kinda critters puttin CatDog down
Gotta rise above it
Gotta try to get along
Gotta walk together
Gotta sing this song

CatDog!
CatDog!
alone in the world is a little CatDog

CatDog!
CatDog!
alone in the world is a little CatDog
alone in the world is a little CatDog

Sorry just had to!

I've never seen any of the shows in the poll (Too old, I'm guessing. LOL). Hell, I've only heard of only a handful of them. When I was growing up, Danger Mouse was pretty much the only cartoon Nickelodeon had.

I loved the first seven shows and started growing out of children's shows after that. Having said that, I went with Rocko's Modern Life because it holds up well even as an adult.

I also must add that I would LOVE a Kablam! set of some kind. That was one of the best "background noise" shows to watch.

The realization that you are so old, you don't consider any of these to be "old school."

Ren and Stimpy was the best by a mile. Of course I'm not young enough to have seen some of these.

Hard to choose as I really enjoyed the entire 1991 line-up of Doug, Rugrats, and Ren & Stimpy. All three are total classics of my childhood. Never did see CatDog, Hey Arnold, or The Wild Thornberrys etc. as I had pretty much quit watching Nick programming by that point.
