Fyi, know everyone's gushing about X-Files (I gladly paid $49 for it), but Thundercats 80's cartoon is now down to its lowest price of $29.99 (previously at $40)

Awesome just checked on my phone and it worked. Sucks though you have to search for it instead of just browsing your library.

Yes, instead of going to a TV show you own, search for it instead (magnifying glass icon). Then when you go to the page for that show it lists the seasons along the top.

I probably paid more for S1 on VHS.
Haha yep. When I see people complaining about $25 for numerous seasons and I remember paying that much for two episodes of Star Trek or X-Files on VHS. . .

Yeah but surprise surprise. As something becomes more common with more forms it becomes cheaper.

And even though I paid a ridiculous amount for my first hard drive that doesn't mean I would now consider $20 for a 1gb flash drive reasonable.

I've got a question about upgrading and this seems like the best place to ask since it concerns a few of the titles in this weekend's sale:

There was a Vudu promo back on 10/22/13 that added 10 free movies to my account, however they were all in SD. Recently, I've been trying to upgrade them all to HD and both Mars Attacks! and Johnny English (on sale this week) were part of the promotion. When I try to purchase them on iTunes, it's saying I already own them and the only option left is to 'gift' them to myself although I have a bunch of unused credit that I'd like to use instead of charging them. Since these were originally 'purchased' on Vudu, shouldn't I be able to upgrade? I tried disconnecting from MA for a few minutes, but that left everything in my iTunes library. Perhaps I need to stay disconnected from MA for longer? Any ideas?

If they show as SD in iTunes, then you should still have the option to buy the HD version. Does iTunes not give you that option?

The option to purchase is there, but when one goes through the steps to purchase it ends at the 'duplicate item' pop-up which has always meant it's time to 'gift' myself. I don't recall this ever happening when the original purchase was done outside of iTunes though. The only reason the titles are even showing up in iTunes is because they are MA and I'd assume that by disconnecting MA, the problem would solve itself, but for some reason it isn't.

It says you already own item, but can you still purchase? I and others have upgraded old SD movies to HD or 4k before.

Can someone gift me with a movie from another country? It is available in the US but sold cheaper in the other country.

Not sure you can redeem a foreign gift in a US account.

Ditto, most recently with Big Trouble in Little China.

I figured it out! When I got through the pop-ups, the last one said something about you can 'download this again' or something like that. The word 'download' was throwing me off since I don't physically want it on my hard drive so I never would click on that button. They should reword it to say 'purchase' again.

Only VUDU has an option to rebuy at a higher quality which would then transfer those updated rights to all your providers if its a MA movie, with Paramount or Lionsgate movies you would have to gift it to yourself or buy the movie again as part of a bundle to upgrade those in itunes.

Have you watched the tv series? S1 is on sale for $4.99. Didnít realize the movie was co-directed by same director as Jojo Rabbit. Curious if the show is as good. Havenít seen either.
