MS probably had to sacrifice/share IPs as part of the legal acquisition otherwise the deal probably would have been flagged as a monopolist deal.

A similar priced deal got shut down I believe from Nvidia trying to buy a chip company for $40B.

I don't even care who outsells what, but The Xbox series X, and PS5 sell out instantly, every time so this isn't a matter of one doing better than the other this is a matter of who can make more systems fast enough to fill the demand.

The company that makes the most systems wins. When the dust clears (maybe next year?) , is when it starts to matter.

Like I said this is the reason Microsoft is in the lead right now for number of systems sold in the U.S.

I still want a PS5 though....maybe in 2024, when I can walk into a store and actually buy one
