Default HDMI Issue

A few months ago I got an Optoma uhd30 projector and onkyo txnr696. I never had this issue with my past projector/receiver but at the start up every time the screen goes HDMI 2.0 searching and hdmi 2.0 source found. It also does this when go into apps on my roku like vudu and Apple TV. I checked and even when I use a Blu-ray player it gives this message.

Itís causing such a disconnect that when I try and watch a 4k movie in Apple TV it wonít load the video. It will load it if itís Hd, however in vudu itíll load the 4k movie but it takes about 30 secs or so until you see the picture.

Does anyone know whatís causing this or how to fix it,
Thank you for all your help.

It seems like there is something wrong with your HDMI setup and connections.

Have you tried adjusting the HDMI 2.0 EQ value with the Optoma? it sounds like a bandwidth issue. Make sure all your devices have HDMI 2.0 enabled.

Everything is plugged into the AVR and then the Onkyo is connected into the receiver? could cable length be an issue? are you able to test some devices directly into the Optoma?
