I have (obviosly) not read the entire thread, but I wonder if someone can still confirm to me that this is still the case in 2021? If someone has recieved an order in europe lately?

I also wonder if they ship everything in one packet or if they tend to split.

I heard the directors cut of The Cellar looks unrestored, and that the theatrical cut has much better PQ. If I decide to watch the theatrical cut first, will I be missing anything good? Which cut is preferred?

I have not watched the producers (theatrical) cut all the way through, but it looks quite a bit better (negative scan vs. Director's personal 35mm print.) I watched all of the director's cut.

I did watch the beginning and end, and the producer's cut eviscerates the opening, making it meaningless and substitutes a lot of stock footage to make up lost run time, and ladels on really painful narration. The ending is even worse, repeating stock footage and going on and on with incomprehensible deeply intoned BS.

Someone posted the body of the film is the same; I scanned some of the producer's cut and it seemed mostly the same but maybe some bits shortened. Don't know about the music.

I will watch the producer's cut through one of these days, but no hurry.

Don't know if this helps or not.

... and the cast were brought in 6 months later for re-shoots for the producer's cut. The young actor did some growing up and you notice that he's older.

I say stick with Tenney's director's cut.
