^ Gladiators are still available, (majority second hand though), at a good price. Check Australian/New Zealand retail sites.

For the record that database entry is misleading. There has been no release of a remastered Gladiator with the metal slip. The only way to get the remastered disc is to go through the exchange program.

Ah okay. I guess it doesn't matter much as I have the remastered Sapphire Series. This is all I could find:

Although that shows a picture of a metal slip, nowhere does it mention it. It could ship in a standard slipcover

Correct, that listing is for people who got their discs replaced during the exchange program. You want this listing;

That will be the Slipcover edition, online stores don't replace the preview images, which is a pain in the butt. You could contact them though, just to be sure.

So I got a used copy and was wondering if there's a way to tell if the person before me got the remastered version or not? If I have the remastered I may get rid of the US disc I have.

Edit: I'll keep both versions, but am still curious.

Play it and see if it's got a truckload of edge enhancement or not. I don't recall there being any difference to the disc art. There was only an inclusion of the Pocket-Blu logo on the case art but being that the exchange was for the disc only this wouldn't be on the art in this case.

Checking the transfer would be the only way to know.

You can look at the back of the case artwork and if its says 2009, it's the first releases, and if it's 2010 then it's the re-release
