Amazon AU's got some really good 4K blurays on sale!

Sadly I only really want Jurassic World & I'm not on prime for free shipping unless I spend more
I have Prime with Amazon AU. Happy to help you order a copy shipped to your place if you are just after Jurassic World? Sent you a PM to discuss.

But that would make Jurassic World 4K more expensive at $16.

I see the Hellboy 15th Anniversary 4K is listed as $20 for JB NZ. Nice to see it following the same Sony catalog price range.

In with a grin, that'll go nicely with my UK steelbook that I nabbed for a tenner from Te Warewhare. Interesting that they've remastered the BD with this one, adding most of the missing extras from the 3-disc DVD and this time it's the theatrical cut only, so all bases are covered

...as long as they don't screw it by including the old BD instead. Which is possible when you look at Black Hawk Down, Bad Boys and Godzilla.

The Warehouse is doing B1G1 50% off again. Shame they increased Pikachu to $50 and don’t have any of the latest releases online.

FYI the AU JB Hi-Fi 2 for $40 4K UHD range has been widened to include more than just Disney titles.

And when JB Hi-Fi periodically have their 20% all DVD/Blu-ray/UHD sales (excluding pre-orders), that offer is in conjunction with any existing offers. So, for example, the 2 for $40 UHD offer would work out to be 2 for $32 with the 20% discount in effect.

It has always been this way in my experience anyway (including when buying online).

The only exceptions, I would imagine, is with coupon offers, which are occasionally sent out via e-mail to those signed up to their mailing list.

JB has also had a Buy 1 Get 1 Free offer (for Blu-rays only) towards the end of May for the last few years in a row, presumably due to the lead-up to the end of financial year. I would suggest that that would perhaps be the best time to stock up on $100+ boxsets and/or anime without breaking the bank.

Not to be a knob, but I’d say just about everyone on here knows this already

There’s 8-10 titles in that list I would probably buy if I could walk into JB and buy them 2 for $40. My wallet would like to thank the Tasman sea for making that impossible. JB’s international delivery provides just enough deterrent for me to keep my self control. If JB AU has a 20% off sales before the 2 for $40 finishes though.....

Couple of price drops @ the warehouse... $15

Wreck it Ralph 2 4k
Girl in the Spiders Web 4k

There was another one but forgot.

Plus the Captain America 4k and Captain Marvel 4k releases have dropped to $25.

You'd think they'd offer free shipping over a certain amount to encourage bigger purchases..

They would probably prefer that you and I bought stuff at double the price from their NZ stores. I was a little surprised when I first found that I could order from JB AU that they hadn’t blocked NZ given they have a local presence here. Fortunately there are still enough other options for us, and they would probably loose more than they gain by doing that.

My will power ran out yesterday morning when I was looking at pricing at JB NZ, and I bought 6 4Ks from JB AU instead.

I have noticed that often the local stuff will be priced just higher enough to negate any savings due to postage and exchange rates. Of course, that doesn't explain Fox charging damn near double for stuff like Deadpool 2 and the Predator 4K set. Then again we do get a few crumbs like Sony catalog UHDs being $10 less than Australia. Win some, lose most seems to be the case here

Yeah from the sounds of it I'm feeling like Aussies lose, and you guys lose even more. Considering how limited our range is in Australia, and in NZ having an even more limited range, it's hard to get some really great and acclaimed movies here without breaking the bank(no thanks to the atrocious conversion + the Gerry tax for good measure)
