Default Q of S $5.00 coupon. Which old Bond film would you recommend?

I want to get one of the Connery ones. Saw most of these but I was really young so I don't remember them too well.

Which one would you recommend out of these titles?

Dr No
From Russia With Love
Thunderball
Goldfinger

I think From Russia With Love is the better movie, but Goldfinger is the most iconic and influential Bond movie in the entire series. My suggestion: Splurge!!
and get them all!!!

From Russia With Love - Less gadgets, closer to "real" if a Bond film is ever real.

GOLDFINGER!!!

That was when Bond, as a movie entity, fully became what we know and love today.

My Rankings of the nine eligible releases:
Goldfinger
From Russia With Love
For Your Eyes Only
Dr. No
Thunderball
Live and Let Die
The World is Not Enough
Die Another Day
Moonraker

NB: I'd rank Licence to Kill and The Man with the Golden Gun respectively as #10 and #11 on this list if they were eligible

No offence but Licence to kill is in my top 5 Bond Films and TMwtGG is the 3rd best Moore film.

Of course all in my opinion but they are WAY better than Die Another Day, World is not Enough and Moonraker.

My vote also goes to Goldfinger btw.

I'm hoping I have the coupon when I receive Quantum of Solace. Seeing as I already purchased THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH along with it, i'll purchase GOLDFINGER using the coupon.

Close call, I am particular to Dr. No, but Goldfinger and From Russia With Love is excellent as well. You honestly cannot go wrong with any of these three films.

I own each of the 4 you're contemplating, and while From Russia With Love is my favorite, I'd say get Goldfinger.

Thunderball. Not as good as Goldfinger but less seen. I always go for the underdog
