Default Batman (1989) U.S. or British blu-ray?

Forgive me if this has already been answered, but I couldn't find it. I am wondering if anybody has compared the U.S. release to the British release of Batman (the original movie)? I have read the reviews for each on this site but am still wondering if the PQ and AQ are the same for the 2 releases.

Normally I would just buy the U.S. version, but the review on the British one sounded very good.

Thanks.

I have the US digibook, and I blieve it is the same transfer as both the US Anthology disc as well as the UK disc. My friend has the UK import, so I need to check it out as well to see if there's any differences. But I believe it was just different people who reviewed the discs on this site.

They are the same discs. Literally, the only difference is the artwork on the disc.

Same disc, but I chose the UK version to avoid getting the digibook case.

Smile Thanks all

That's good to know. Now I can make my decision based on price, digibook or not, and artwork rather than quality or contents.

You folks are great with quick and accurate answers.

I wouldn't buy any BD that was made in 1989.

Re-open a 15 months old thread and you still miss the sarcasm in the post

I have the U.K. disc of the 1989 Batman because I refused to pay the astronomical amount that was wanted at the time for the U.S. digibook. It it indeed the same transfer and all of the extras play fine on a Region A player.

Well to be fair, I wouldn't pick up a BD that was made in 1989 since the red laser quality would probably be terrible.

Hi people, will you touch the subject but this is a particular question. The movie Batman (1989) 1 disc bluray version, which is the Latin Spanish audio 1 mono or 2 stereo the USA version? For pictures I have seen that the UK is Latin Spanish 1 mono and Castilian don't know, USA and UK are the same or different? We appreciate the response.
