Back to Is The Order A Rabbit (season 2).
Cocoa's sister is named Mocha, and was rather fun.

This week I started watching Sherlock Hound. I'm about seven episodes in.
Some of the episodes, six to be exact, were directed by Hayao Miyazaki and it shows.

It's basically a lighter toned Sherlock Holmes, duh, but it also reminds me a little of Castle of Cagliostro and Porco Rosso.

TMS has uploaded all 26 episodes onto their YouTube channel, English dubbed, for anyone else who wants to check it out.

I've loved all the revelations so far, did not give it enough credit for this being such an intricately planned story. One more episode to go this season, then it's going to be a loooong wait to see what they do with all this info we've been given.

I'm now up to disc 4 of The Third.

Haven't been keeping up with Attack on Titan, but thought it might be funny if there was NOTHING in the basement...just like Al Capone's "vault"...

I have been thinking about re-watching The Third, but re-watching my Girls und Panzer collection won out, it will be up next after.

I can already hear myself making sarcastic comments about the "Off Model" episode.
I know you know what I'm talking about

Muv-Luv Alternative read somewhere the author of Attack on Titan admitted it was "inspired" by this show so I figured I would check it out. Oh look a bunch of cute high school girls are training to fight aliens in their CGI mecha. Well seen this before, know how this goes, Eva-esque skin tight "plug suits", check. Thrown into battle before they're ready, check. Overcome the bleak odds and somehow win, che...oh...oh no......
Geez OK now I see how this inspired AOT, well by episode 3 it's a completely different show. Guess you shouldn't judge an anime by it's first 10 minutes, think I'll stick around and see where this goes.

I just started rewatching Saber Marionette last night. I remember I used to love this show at its launch, but oh boy, the video quality does not hold up after all these years. I felt like I was watching VHS or something like that, could be possibly worse than VCD not to mention standard DVD. Wasn't Bandai a reputable company? I thought their products were good to excellent, not B/C grade like Media Blaster, U.S Corps, etc.

Watched the final episode of Season 3 of Attack On Titan. Wonderful episode, filled with tension and nostalgia.

Very sad to read that the fourth season will be the final season.

The manga is ending soon so you have a full two course season to look forward to. It's also rare for a manga of this length to get a full adaptation and to be this good too.

I've just finished rewatching Saber Marionette J, and now moving on to Saber Marionette J Again. Wow, the video quality improves quite a lot. I actual feel like I'm watching DVDs now. What a huge difference it is.

It will be an anime that started great and ended great for sure. Such an incredible story, well written and with incredible animation.

Until next year.

And the summer season has begun, let's go

To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts hmmm well it sure starts with a bang, the setting seems to be a fictional version of the US Civil War, but one side hopelessly outnumbered decides to gamble on altering humans to become monsters to turn the tide, though successful it leads to some unfortunate consequences and sets up the main story of the postwar dealing with those beasts.
I was up and down on this one kind of a Devilman meets FMA with a little Berserk betrayal and revenge, should be OK for a one season show.

Sounan Desu ka? short format (12 min episodes) 4 HS girls' plane crashes in the ocean and they are marooned on an island, luckily one had a survivalist dad who trained her from the time she was young, let the hilarity ensue.
Pretty amusing, best line so far, "I'm thirsty" "How thirsty are you?" "I'm dying" "OKAY Lie down and close your eyes" "Don't worry it's sterile when it's fresh" <takes off pantsu and straddles thirsty girl>
Should be pretty funny if this is any indication LOL
