Default Anime Archiving: 1080p or 720p

http://strawpoll.me/5500278/r

Not sure if anyone else does this. I collect Anime on Blu-ray and DVD but try to gather a digital copy when I can. Because there is no certainty in life and want a back-up. Since I lack a Blu-ray drive to rip my own. I

So question for everyone. When downloading Anime for storage, if you had the choice between the two qualities. And the source is from a Blu-ray. Which would you download? 1080p or 720p? Why?

I've actually done 720 for years out of habit, because i started with an old laptop hooked to the TV that couldnt handle 1080 smoothly... but now i've used one for a while that should be able to handle it just fine... hmmmm...

Depends on the series, and also length of the series. For movies I'd usually pick 1080p.
