Just saw it this afternoon. It wasn't horrible, but it was a little boring. Not sure what happened, but it was very low energy. Some of the jokes and sight gags were funny, but it just limped along, scene to scene. As others point out, Melissa McCarthy is asleep at the wheel. She has one or two scenes that are pretty funny, but they're few and far in between.

The scene in the adult book store was hilarious!

I liked Maya Rudolph, Leslie David Baker and Elizabeth Banks.

A couple of laughs, nothing more. An accountant handed a checklist to the director, of things that needed to be in a Melissa McCarthy movie, and he dutifully checked them off. Zzzzzz

I gave it a 3. Its a solid 3 out of 5. Not sure why the poll only gos to 4. 2.5 out of 4 I guess. I think if they didn't show most of the best funny parts in the trailer it would of been rated higher. Id definitely watch it again. Its a 9.99 buy for me. I'l see what black friday/cyber monday does for it.
Movies that need to go Blu. The Ref, Open Range, Life As A House, True Lies, Maximum Overdrive, Pool Hall Junkies, Brain Candy, Wildcats, Blue Juice, Magnificent Eleven, Fire In The Sky, Hot to Trot, Disorderlies.

A couple of chuckles that's about it. It relied heavily on puppets using r-rated language and situations to get laughter but it just wasn't funny.

Cause you have to be delirious to give this a perfect 5 out of 5.

After 2 weeks, this left every theater in the area except 1.

I'm not big on profanity and sex jokes, but I really want to see this for some reason. I'm finding it hard to believe that it's as bad as everyone is saying. Just the fact that this movie was made makes me want to see it. Ha.

A 3/5 for me.
Pretty much the same for me... some of the gags fell flat (most comedies have *some* failed gags individual to a person!) but like everyone else who was in the theatre with me when I saw this there were plenty of laugh out loud moments and the plot was decent enough to hang the verbal and visual gags on and make it work.

I won't be buying it day 1 (!) but I'll certainly pick it up when it gets to a good price (which shouldn't take long judging by some of the hate here)...

Same here. I’m sitting alone in the theater right now and the movie starts in 5 minutes...guess this is what they mean by Box Office Flop
