Children of the Corn 2/3 are not Miramax titles. They have always been with the Lakeshore library.

Don't tell me, tell that to Paramount / Miramax to see what they say:

Rumor mill is boiling today,

Now someone in the UK thread is claiming to have inside info that Arrow is releasing Scorsese's Hugo.

Could be US/CA only if it's part of the Paramount deal. Fran also kinda-sorta hinted at Bringing Out the Dead. Interesting they may have went after at least 2 Scorsese titles in the Paramount deal.

Arrow also announced their April slate for the streaming service:

Showing on ARROW are four films from legendary Japanese director Nobuhiko Ôbayashi, a cinema pioneer whose career spanned sixty years and dozens of films. Immerse yourself into the wonderful, visionary world of Ôbayashi with the intriguing sci-fi fantasies School in the Crosshairs and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, the dazzling magical adventure The Island Closest to Heaven, and the romantic drama His Motorbike, Her Island.

Has these Obayashi titles ever had a US or UK release previously? Arrow uses a lot of third party companies to supply streaming content...but these could be with Arrow too.

I've only seen Obayashi's House via Criterion, which is a super cool film. Wouldn't mind seing his other stuff.

Other notable stuff being added in April, digital versions of Arrow's Naked Lunch and The Creeping Garden discs and Eli Roth's Cabin Fever.

As per Arrow's streaming lineup for April it looks like the films No Escape and The Grand Tour will be streaming in the US/CA only.

I think Barndoor posted rumors about Arrow having No Escape before?

I'm alone is hoping for a 1-4 UHD set from Arrow.

I would be fine if it was just the first film, but I legit love the 4th one because of how terrible is it, and...this...

The fact that you can visibly see a crew member in what looks like a robe making coffee in a panning shot and stickers for "Prop Supply Warehouse" in a few shots are gold.

I honestly don't recall that particular rumour. Someone once claimed that Arrow had a film starring Kevin Dillon, but that never materialized (at the time I imagined it was a UK release of The Blob).

Moreover, Unearthed Films released No Escape only last October.

A crew member is fully visible working a special effect in VS’s The Laughing Dead and an entire second unit crew is visible in a long shot from Scorpion Releasing’s Death Ship. Just two of the most “how could they miss that” examples.

Interesting he just mentions the sequel. Anyways, just a heads up on here in case somebody needs to pick it up.
Looks like they deleted that tweet now. I wonder what that was about

I went to a 35mm screening of Pieces at my local arthouse theater over the weekend. I really enjoyed the film, but the print was beat to all Hell. Like, I love the idea of screening an actual film print, but there were so many scratches, missing frames/jumps, and super bad discoloring that I feel like I'd have rather just watched a digital/blu ray projection.

Anyway, I want to check it out again, and the Spanish-language cut as well. Figure if I'm going to buy a copy, I want the best one available. So just checking to see if anyone has the Limited Edition set for a non-crazy price?

This guy:

Don't care about the super limited one with the vinyl & puzzle. Just the slip box & booklet version. Hit me up if you do! Thanks.

There's one on ebay ending in 6 hours, currently at 12 bucks. Dunno what your limit is, looks in decent shape, not pristine.

For real? I have "Pieces Arrow" saved as a search on eBay and have looked through every one. Only thing I've seen with the slip is a BIN from the UK that would be like $70+ total.

They did an unboxing on Instagram just now, and Boyhood does have a chipboard box.

Ohhh, I was referring to the 3 Disc Grindhouse Video version, not the Arrow. Sorry about that. They are comperable releases, and the grindhouse release has the documentary 42nd Street Memories, which is phenomenal. Comes in a slipcase, soundtrack, blu-ray feature, etc.

Well, the rumor is that we are getting a Spaghetti Western reveal this week, so really excited for that and to see what titles they release.

That means we know two of the possible releases with that and The Lighthouse.

Is there any reason why you wouldn't want the Grindhouse Releasing version? It has both cuts.
