Arrow have just posted on twitter a picture clue for Friday - a pair of plastic vampire teeth. 'Martin' anyone? Then Dawn of the Dead?

I'm not holding my breath for Dawn of the Dead, but if Rubenstein loosened his grip on Martin, I would be extremely happy. It's my favorite Romero film.

I have a nagging (in that I've just ordered the Scream version) suspicion it's a UK-only release of Vampire's Kiss, but given the rumours that the rights to Near Dark have reverted to the producer (apparently the same rights holder with The Hitcher, another property rumoured to be with Arrow), is it too much to hope for the release that film deserves?

Transylvania 6-5000 is another possibility, given Arrow's deal with Lakeshore/Image.

Arrow release the least specific clues in the world so it could really be ANY vampire movie, not necessarily one with plastic vampire fangs in the plot. I wouldn't get your hopes up too high for Martin!! It sure would be nice, though.

It's likely Jose Larraz' VAMPYRES. They've had a set of Larraz films in the works for awhile now.

During the party scene in Fright Night II a couple of characters, including Carmen, the main vampire chick, remove fake fangs. On the other side of the spectrum, the plastic teeth clue leads me to think it might be a vampire comedy.

Fade to Black would be freaking awesome. But whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be disappointing. Yet again...

The plastic teeth are so integral to Martin. Look at the soundtrack cover:

If it isn't Martin, that is one cruel misdirect.

Nope. I heard a rumor some time ago about one other title, one of his late 80s horror titles, but I'm not sure, so I won't spill it.
Another one I just heard about because MM was also trying to get it. I'm not sure how much of a dick I should be and leak the title. We're a little bit pissed just because we tried a long time, found where the negative was but couldn't find a proper rights owner, and we have no idea how Arrow did it. I guess for now just know that I am 95% positive that Arrow has VAMPYRES coming at the very least.

It appears likely judging by that pic of the Martin soundtrack album posted above. The plastic teeth are identical to the Arrow clue.

It would be awfully cruel for them to get everyone's hopes up for Martin... and then have the announcement be Transylvania 6-5000. lol

Although, I personally happen to love Transylvania 6-5000, so I'd be fine with it.

I am so psyched that Fellini's Orchestra Rehearsal is out on BD now!

This seems to have flown way under the radar... I cannot seem to find any relevant threads or discussions.

I had been patiently waiting for a Criterion release but will be pleased to have this from Arrow!
