Obviously, the Stargate seasons are only 480p. But my BD player is upconverting it. However, as I watch them, I often notice jagged horizontal lines that I have come to associate with an interlaced picture. Particularly around people's mouths as they are talking.
Has anyone else encountered this? I guess I expected a better job of upconverting. I never notice this when watching HDTV broadcasts with a 1080i picture. Or could I possibly have a setting wrong somewhere? |
