The OVA was edited into two "films", one part of which was released by CPM and ADV released them again, after they got the rights to the TV series and cut a dub for it.

Pre-ordered just about everything except Gowygoogar or whatever it's called. I'm looking forward to getting UY collection 1, as I have refused to watch any of the movies until I've seen enough of the show to be able to appreciate the movies.

Ps. I'll probably get GaoGaiGar at a discotek sale later. Sunrise is my favorite old-school studio, and with discotek's loving care I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I just can't support such an awful name by pre-ordering it

If you're going to do that might I suggest watching the movies where they land in when the episodes were airing?
Movies 1 and 2 should fall at opposite ends of TV set 2
Movie 3 during set 3
Movie 4 during set 4
Movie 5 is the series finale and would have to wait until after the OVA's are released.
And Movie 6 was a 10th anniversary special and would be the last peice of media from the classic series.

Anybody whos interested I suggest looking up his life story. How he cheated dearh in his youth to becoming such an inspiration later in life. A good man and I'm truly thankful for his work.
