I wonder when we’ll get more Leiji stuff. Captain Harlock series, Arcadia of My Youth SSX, Gun Frontier, and Cosmo Warrior Zero Discotek released on DVD but I would love BDs. Gun Frontier and Cosmo Warrior Zero are listed online as being held by Enoki Films. I hope they didn’t loose them like they did J9 because they held them too. Also all of Space Battleship Yamato really needs the Discotek treatment.

I would definitely buy those all on bluray.
The article i linked in my previous post mentioned that Discotek releases occupy 5 of the top 10 best selling anime on RS, and that RS is the largest online anime retailer.
It sure sounds like Discotek has a better pulse on the anime-buying community than anyone else. If they can release the stuff we want, they likely will at some point.

Some scenes use shots (that had alterations ranging from changing signs to turning a saloon bar into a McDonalds in one episode) from the 4Kids edited dub. I was told the reason some of these shots were still used was because the JP masters provided by TMS had severe issues in places ranging from rainbowing/artifacts to dropped/blended frames. Also, the JP masters were based on broadcast revised edits that reanimated and darkened certain scenes to reduce seizure outbreaks.

After Black RX I hope we get Sharivan since it’s the next Space Sheriff. Also it’s Jiraiya’s 35 and Janpersons 30 anniversary this year! Hope those are next too! I will buy all of the Toku Time line as it comes out.

I recently gave up on a blu-ray upgrade and ordered the Endless Orbit SSX series so an announcement is probably imminent

When it comes to live action I wonder if Discotek would be willing to license titles from the 60's that Toei has released that have new remasters? Revenge is getting released in the UK and would love to see someone in the US also nab this like Discotek is also releasing Bullet Train.

Also, I'm surprised Discotek doesn't have a suggest a title option on their site. Kinda wish they did, but I guess they pretty much have a sense of what people want.

I remember ordering the Orguss dvd set from Rightstuf. It took almost a year before they got it in stock and shipped. I think it was about 2 months later that they announced the BD.
