Redbox has many of their 4K titles available for sale. Here are the ones I found available in my area. 4K discs are not available in all areas. Check the availability online for your local Redbox. These discs only come with the disc and the rental case. No artwork. If you find a title not listed, I can add it.

They're available where I am. Once I finish up my upgrades to my room I will probably use them for rentals of things I want to see, but aren't interested in buying. Not sure about using them for buying. I guess that depends on the title and the general condition of the discs I see as rentals.

Really hoping this doesn't mean they're abandoning the UHD trials. Great to be able to rent a UHD disc for $2.50, for stuff I won't want to re-watch (although it's a pain you can check availability in boxes beforehand for UHD).
They typically only have 1 UHD disc for stocked titles as it is, so if they sell it through this, not going to be much left to rent. |
