Default Blu-ray was cited as one of the most frequently used high tech buzzwords of 2007

The Global Language Monitor of San Diego has named iPOD, flash, cookie and kernel as among the most confusing high tech words of the year.

The words on the list -- which also includes megahertz, cell, plasma, de-duplication and blu-ray -- were cited as the most confusing yet frequently used high tech buzzwords of 2007, the language monitor said.
