Thanks in advance,
If the DLA-550 is of the same form factor as the DLA-RS520 then the answer is YES.

From pictures that I have seen, it looks like it is a different form factor so you may want to verify the plate model # with Chief's website.

I am using the same plate I had on my 520 and it was easy to transfer over to the new projector. It is quite sturdy, so no fear of it falling with the new 4K JVC's.

I just had my NX5 professionally calibrated by @sapiendut from here on the forum and I'm really pleased with the results. Professional calibration has been something I've considered for years but have held off for one reason or another.

I made a final push with some updates to the theatre with a new (to me) SVS 13" Ultra Sub, some acoustical panels from Forward Acoustics and a new UB9000 player from Visions and called @sapiendut in to work his magic. Things have never sounded or looked so good, the NX5 is just amazing and the theatre is sounding fantastic!

Hi Roar.

I looked at your theater room (really nice!) and a great home for your new NX5.

If you don't mind my asking, what settings for your iris and auto iris did your calibrator set for SDR and HDR?

I set it to full-open Auto 2 for both in order to boost up contrast a (noticable) bit.
