Help - Trying to get a BD from Brazil/Portugal - Blu-ray Forum

Hello!

I need help trying to get this release. I can't seem to find it anywhere easy like eBay, and I tried on Amazon in Brazil and wasn't able to there. Can anyone help me?

I was able to find it with Livraria Cultura.

At one point they did ship internationally (and may still do so), but you may have problems trying to order without a Brazilian CPF (kind of a social security number, but you may be able to get away with using a fake CPF generator to complete the transaction).

Here's where I have ordered in the past from Brazil
The checkout procedure is not entirely straightforward, but at one point I had it figured out.

I do not think they are currently shipping to the US b/c the last couple times I've tried I haven't been able to get through their system. They used to have a section in the checkout that allowed you to select International Customer -- that is no longer available. All my orders have also been purged from the system. I;m not sure if this is virus related, a change in LC policy, or Government policy.

Customer Service used to answer my emails reasonably quickly. I apologized for using English only, but attempting to write is Portuguese would likely have offended quite a few people. Usually someone there communicates in english quite well.

LC was a very nice place to order and a fraction of the Brazil Ebay sellers price. I haven't found an alternative other than having a Brazil resident buy and ship it to me, but postage rates are quite steep. I have not found another alternative

The item is only $10USD, but may cost twice that to ship

Brazilian Zip/Post Code or elsewhere? I could enter a generic Brazil Post Code, but it appears to go to the next page, but as soon as it realizes it doesn't match my saved address it kicks me out. I'm not sure if I changed my saved address to a real Sao Paulo address and post code if that might work

Are you in Brazil currently?

I tried signing into my Livraria Cultura account to make a demo purchase and also hit the CEP wall. In Brazil, interstate commerce is taxed, and postal shipping varies greatly based on distance, so I could see why they'd insist on getting the shipping destination as a first step.

check the "Sou do exterior" box to avoid the mandatory Brazil specific information points.
