Default Help: Best PS3 External USB Harddrive?

In a very old thread (that I could no longer find) someone mentioned a 120 gig external harddrive that is USB and works perfect with the PS3, and it was even black!

As my memory dwindles I'm looking for a solution. Just wondering if anyone knows of a really badass, monster, external USB harddrive for the PS3?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

ANY external hard drive should work as long as it's formatted FAT 32, regardless of size

Here is a program that will format any hard drive to FAT32:

My recommendation, get a 2.5inch drive with a case.. 2.5 drive feed themself from the USB Power, you don't need a PowerSupply. They cost more but are Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more practical if you move it..

Good question, i dont know. Something to state though is that if you are saving trailers to the external hard drive you can only download one at a time.

Drawing power from any powered USB hub is the function of the hub. It won't make the unit to function badly.

I have a black Western Digital 120gb portable hard drive that works great with my PS3.
However I dont think you can save game demos on an external. You can save videos from the online store, as well as have music, pics, and your own video on the drive.
