Looking at this list somehow reminded me of the open world WB-published title that isn't there, which is the 2015 Mad Max title from Avalanche. I decided to fire it up on my PC and it's still a fine looking game (especially on an ultrawide monitor). The on-foot segments in that game are a bit dull but I still think it's one of the best open world games when you're wreaking havoc in your vehicle.

I forgot about that one, but also have Mad Max PS4 and you're right, no issues. WB has a great track record IMO.

I can't wait for this to come out. I'm a big fan of the world, and it looks right up my alley. Each new video I see gets me more excited about the game.

I think it's cool they're giving the player a lot of freedom to create the player you want to see, so fans of a favorite character can create something that looks like that character in the series if they wanted with the choices hopefully.

Then you have the full castle to explore, and it would be cool if you have to be to class on time or you can eventually be held back a year in school for bad grades and not advance in magic skills as fast till next season. Actually, that would be a bit harsh unless you could speed up time.

The open landscape, I wonder how large the map will be. To be able to fly on a horse with wings or a broom, that is very cool to see.

I noticed this as well when I ordered a week or so ago. I ended up ordering the deluxe edition from BestBuy because Amazon has a later shipping date. You also get a $10 gift card if you preorder. It works out better for me anyway. My wife has a doctor's appointment that morning so I'll just stop by on my way home.

I can't wait. Over the past few days, there have been lots of first impression videos from the 2 hour preview that folks got to try. I'm not seeing anything bad. They're enjoying the combat. Stating that it works like the Batman game but with spells. Flying is also fun and relaxing. The inside of Hogwarts is huge with lots of things to do. One thing that I like is that if you can see it you can get there. There seems to be loads of things to do around the map. I'm going to be busy for weeks just exploring.

I’m not the biggest Harry Potter fan but the game (from what I’ve seen) does look appealing. I have it in my wish list so am not sure yet if I’ll pick it up Day 1.

I’m a fan of the movies, but not some crazed HP fan overall. I’m more looking forward to the world-building, the ambiance/vibe/setting and the huge map to explore.

Shit I forgot all about that game! Yeah Gollum has definitely moved into the "Where are they now" category along with Little Devil Inside and Pragmata.

Last I heard was that the Gollum release is delayed until April to September of this year.

Capcom has always said pragmata was a 2024 title. Just an early reveal due to it being a new zip that they're investing major money into. I expect to see more of it around E3 time.

Really looking forward to getting my hands on this. Every bit of new info makes me more excited. Hope it can match those expectations.

Yes, the exploration as an owl looks cool too, from what I saw in some TV commercials, with the owl flying and the camera following as if it was controllable hopefully.

More House Cup tasks are now available with two videos a few questions and a redemption code for a "Hogwarts Legacy Magical Beasts Avatar Bundle".

I'd have to learn what a House Cup Task is relating to the game. It sounds like maybe a trophy for a certain group, Slitherin versus the Potter team/house for the top prize in the competitions.
