May get a US announcement: 'Jeepers Creepers', 'Jeepers Creepers 2', and 'Stigmata' are coming to Canada on Sept. 15th supposedly. All 3 are from Fox, who do not have any Canadian exclusive discs yet. Also the new film 'Away We Go' is coming on Sept. 29th.

EDIT: 'Away We Go' was just announced for US release.

Edited the 1st post yet again... Unfortunately had to remove Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 plus Stigmata since they were not actually released (as I suspected would happen).

Also added:
-The Brothers Bloom (Paradox, Oct. 6, 2009)
-De père en flic (Alliance, DTS MA, Nov. 10, 2009)
-Spy Kids Collection (1/2/3) (Alliance, 1.78:1, DTS MA, Nov. 10, 2009)

Impressive amount of work, Rhylliam!

Just chipping in my two-cents here... Unless there was a subsequent release of the DOA BD, it DOES NOT have any extras (ie. no featurette or trailer) as indicated on your list.

Really hey? I can't remember who "confirmed" it did have extras... but I'll now have to look into it. Thanks!

They are exclusive packaging however the movies are available worldwide. I think the list focuses on movies only available in Canada

I take that back, I see the post format has changed.....

lol, yeah added those a while ago, but have them at the very bottom of the post for the reason that yes, it's merely a packaging difference.

Has anyone had a look at the Trainspotting Blu-Ray? I'm amazed that it's been released here. But like Sin City, I am confused.

I woudl hate to have to quadruple dip on this one, since this version would be the 3rd, and if they release a special edition with the addtl' stuff from the DVD CE, I would HAVE to buy that...

I would hold off for a US release... The Canadian disc has no extras etc, and the transfer could probably be better (http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/DVDCom...inspotting.htm).

Default DOA extras STILL DOA...

Hate to be a nag BUT...

I either don't want anybody else being misled into buying the DOA Blu-ray thinking that it has the same extras (or ANY extras, say like, a MENU) as the DVD, or I'll have to look for another copy if there IS a version out there that DOES have the extras (so I can finally ditch the DVD)...

I totally forgot to change that a while back, 1st post has been edited. Very curious as to which forum member told me it did have extras...

A lot of these I would not touch with a 9.5 foot pole because a lot of them are in the wrong aspect ratio. I thought we were done with the wrong aspect ratio crap, when we moved to Blu ray. I am so because Se7en with DTS MA is a first day get for me.

Rhylliam, just noticed this version of THE ENGLISH PATIENT on blu-ray at DDDHouse and YesAsia respectively:

http://www.dddhouse.com/v3/product_d...ProductID=9977
http://www.yesasia.com/us/the-englis...0-en/info.html

...both sites are listing it as 1080*P*, as opposed to the 1080i Canadian version.
