3D Blu-ray importing and delivery issues thread (Amazon, Zavvi, Rahul etc.)

I will not be buying anything else from the US for at least a couple of months until things become less chaotic.

Yeap, most of my purchases now are going to Germany and Japan, though Japan mail is also acting up, but DHL and Fedex are working fine. I've even tried Japan surface/sea mail for the first time. It's clearly advertised as taking 2-3 months but most people in my area seems to be receiving it in about 1.5 months. Costs 1/4 the price of regular air mail or what most couriers charge. And since air mail can take 2mo+ I don't feel like paying for a fast service I'm not receiving, so I might as well choose the slow service and save the money by using boats and trucks instead of airplanes that don't seem to be providing the service.

In some positive news for a change, my copy of The Monkey King 2 3D (Taiwanese edition) from YesAsia turned up this afternoon after only being dispatched on Monday this week. Was not expecting it so quickly, particularly in the current climate!

Well Lo and behold my Silent Madness finally decided to grace my front door. It took way too long to arrive and can't say who's the fault. But..... it was packaged better than any disc I have ever bought. In a box!!! How many discs have you bought that were shipped in a box? The slip cover is fantastic. I am very satisfied with the product. Not so much with the shipping. But all is well that ends well I guess.

Even with the delay in shipping I will buy from Vinegar Syndrome again. Can't say enough about their product and packaging.

I plan on watching it this weekend.

Just received my 11/28/2020 order from JB HiFi. Took almost 2 months, but it was worth it: A couple of 3D titles for less than $5 US, THE MEG and FINAL DESTINATION 5, along with DAY OF THE LOCUST on Blu and THE KEEP on DVD.

Has anyone any experience of ordering from Brazil to the UK? I ordered a copy of Final Hours 3D which was dispatched around 15 December, which has still not turned up. Just wondering how likely it is that it's now gone for good ... No idea what route it is taking but hasn't been sent by any tracked service.

Just got in an order from jpc.de. I wanted to stock up on a bunch of German 3D movies and the price for shipping them from amazon.de was more than I wanted to spend. This order of 10 discs cost only about 5 euro for shipping and the price of most of the movies were similar to Amazon prices. There wasn't any tracking but it arrived at my door in the US in two weeks. First time ordering from them and very happy with the service.

Edit: There was apparently tracking. Just found the shipping email in my spam folder. So great shipping all around!

I love you but hate you! Like i need another site to blow dough! Went on the site and ordered 9 discs with shipping less than 7 euros. For the first time ever I was completely overwhelmed by the sheer number of 3d discs I had never heard of before, and I have about 330 3D discs and counting. Check out was a breeze with paypal...

Just be careful with the more obscure titles, they most likely are 3d auto conversions and not worth buying.

Yeah, I was just buying more mainstream ones like Ratatouille, Detective Dee, and Gemini Man. I know there are a lot of poor quality autoconversions from Germany.

ordered Doraemon Stand By Me on the 10th December from dddhouse to uk. . Still nothing at its been over 6 weeks ! Item still says This item is now leaving the originating country. More information will be available when it arrives in the UK.

Yep takes that long or longer to get to the states from ddd. I was looking to pick that up also. Hope it comes soon!

It’s because they are on a “last in - first out” policy now. There’s a lot of packages still behind since November last year.
