Mission: Impossible 2 is only missing the DVD-ROM extras which are good but would have been difficult to carry over.

Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 have been re-released with the extras from the DVDs. Again just the DVD-ROM features were left off.

Die Hard is missing The Cutting Room floor interactive featurette and Why Letterbox? featurette.

Speed US and Canada is missing the extras from disc two of the DVD special edition. The Korean release fixes this by including the "disc two" DVD with the BD.

In the US and UK... M:I and M:I 2 are the same as before with new art, M:I 3 lost the second disc of extras only. The M:I releases with remastered picture and DTS-HD MA lose the extras.

The Skeleton Key BD only has the deleted scenes and commentary from the DVD.

Jarhead only has two commentary tracks.

The Squid and The Whale/Running With Scissors double feature is movie only.

From Dusk Till Dawn (all US releases) are movie only.

Final Destination 3 lost the Choose Your Fate feature.

Thanks Trekkie for making this list. I was also considering making a list like this.

Please make the titles in alphabetical order.

For the list:

Behind Enemy Lines (2001) (extras)
The Bourne Ultimatum (extras)
Fantastic Four (2005) (lots of extras)

The Rock (Criterion Edition) had a lot of stuff the Blu-ray doesn't have, it has commentary by Michael Bay and outtakes just to name a few

Black Hawk Down

Most of the extras on the three disks were not ported over except for the commentary by Ridley Scott, Jerry Bruckheimer, Mark Bowden and US Special Forces veterans

The Essence of Combat feature

I know Top Gun on DVD had more extras on it also

Mission Impossible 2 is also missing the MTV sketch that Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller did, I don't know what it was called but I'll call it Cruise and Crooze, but I believe that Paramount lost the rights to include the sketch, or something.

Each section should be alphabetized with articles (a, an, & the) placed at the end.

A Knight's Tale - no extras while DVD contains quite a few

Things I don't own due to missing extras is easier to list.

Man on Fire
Lord of War
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back
Kingdom of Heaven

Ones I had to keep dvds for due to extras
Dawn of the Dead (original, but remake is missing a couple things from the dvd as well)
Land of the Dead
Silent Hill
Boiler Room (Canadian BD)
Species

Non-Criterion LaserDisc Material unless noted Criterion (often not on dvd either, these are my customs)
Dead Presidents (Criterion commentary, deleted scenes, making of, video)
Tales from the Hood (comm)
The Demolitionist (WS, comm, making of)
Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw 3 (2 comms, different deleted scenes)
Menace II Society (Criterion 2 different comms, deleted scenes, 2 videos, interviews, clips from student film)

Trilogy of Terror 2 doesn't exist on anything sadly.

The Man on Fire U.K. disc has all of the extras and is region free. The FR 2 Disc Set of Silent Hill has better PQ, AQ, and tons of extras. It it also region free.

Thanks, look like I have to order it now.
Are the extras in HD so I'll be able to watch them? At worst I'll have the commentaries back and can replace disc 1 in my dvd steelbook, although if I could play everything and sell the steelbook, that would be best. I would've already done this with the US disc if it had the comms.

The extras aren't in HD. They weren't finished (or even recorded) in HD, as far as I know.

Figured as much.
I see Halloween 2 and 3 UK dvds in the OP, those commentaries aren't by anyone involved in the films and I mistakenly ordered #3 long ago before reading up on it. It was a nightmare, cropped to 1.78 and cut to shreds. The only good thing was the 5.1 soundtrack. Pretty sure 2 didn't fare much better. I'll take OAR and uncut over a couple experts opinions anyday.

No offense but if you're going to start a thread like this, at least make it 1) specific and 2) accurate.

"More extras" isn't going to help anyone.

Re:

Star Trek (Nearly every film had a different cut and tons of extras!)

Of the original 10 films, only TMP, TWOK, and TUC had alternate cuts.

And all of the DVD extras were ported over, with the exception of the Mike Okuda text commentaries* and the commentary/featurettes from the TMP DVD. (The commentaries for TWOK and TUC have been edited accordingly to fit the shorter cuts.)

*The Blu-Rays feature the Library Computer pop-up option but it's "in-universe" info and not making-of info.

The current 1-disc DVDs, however, only include the newly-produced extras and not the vintage material.
