Default One Punch Man

I'm usually not one to watch new anime series but gotta hand it to One Punch Man, this show is incredibly awesome, exciting and hilarious. The animation looks fantastic and the soundtrack is a blast to hear, too.

Also, for Dragon Ball Z fans (+ Dragon Ball) there's a lot in here that'll make them hooked up on One Punch Man, just to start off with Vaccine Man or as I like to call him "Blue Piccolo Daimaoh".

Lastly, just want to say that in comparison to Dragon Ball Super, I've gotta admit that I've been enjoying this series more as it packs more action and comedy than Super does. Totally addictive!

As much as I love the original voices of the anime series this is one to make the exception so I'd adore to see how FUNimation (fingers crossed) is going to take care of dubbing it.

OPM is definitely a show worth rewatching.

It's already been confirmed that Viz have the rights to One Punch Man so sorry but Funimation won't be dubbing this series.

Bummer. Still hope they do a great job with the dubbing.

Is that almost $90 USD? Man, that's expensive. Glad there aren't many episodes per season.

Anyway I just started watching this on ATT UVerse app and the PQ sucks but the anime is awesome. I'll have to check it out on Hulu.

I was kind of skeptical with the series, but watching it on Toonami helped change my mind for the better.

It's like literally nothing happened on episode 8 and honestly, would've been better without it. Same goes for Dragon Ball Super's episode 21.

I keep hearing good things about this series, but from what I hear, it is going to end with episode 12 and have its own filler ending. As such, I'm just going to give the manga a try instead.

What a great show and premise. Been watching on Hulu weekly. Episode 11 was packed with action. I highly recommend action/comedy anime fans give this series a peek.

where did you read this? Apparently the director is working hard to justify a second season, so I'm unsure why a filler ending would be used.

I think it's that people are being trolled with the episode 11 end capper. The main villain says "in next week's final episode," which has people thinking it's ending, even though it would make the anime an awkward 12 episode series besides the fact that it's amazingly popular at the moment.

When can we expect a blu ray in places like the UK?

Maybe they meant it as for end of the 1st season and onto the 2nd season.

After a US publisher gets their hands on it and releases it. Then from thereon Australia and UK will licence that said release.

Genos and Saitama make sense, but Sonic? Mumen Rider got snubbed.
Thanks for sharing!

I believe Sonic made an appearance earlier than Mumen Rider (forgive me if I am wrong), so it makes sense. We still have 3 more volumes of artwork to see and it will probably consist of Mumen Rider, Silver Fang and Tatsumaki.

You're right, I thought they were doing 3 eps per release. My guess then is that we'll see Mumen Rider, Tatsumaki, and Boros.

Has anyone here actually purchased any of these and can confirm if they have English subs?

I'm still waiting for someone to put the bluray version up for sale on US Amazon market, but I doubt any seller would know for themselves.

I have the first volume and can confirm it comes with English subtitles, not only for the episodes but also for the OVA that's included in each volume. Why don't you just purchase them straight from Amazon JP?
