It wasn't at Celebration itself, there was another event happening around 1998. I will never forget that moment sadly when he passed away august 2000. I have other autographs but it was by getting other events done not Celebration. I went to only Star Wars Celebration I (Denver Colorado), and IV (Los Angeles, CA)

Staying overnight at the convention both Wednesday night for the 40th anniversary panel and Thursday for The Last Jedi. Also prepaid for photo op with both Mark Hamill and Hayden Christensen. One week to go!

I have a question for some of you who have been before. I read about getting wristbands to see the panels, but is there one line for each panel or is it broken up by stage? For instance, the 40th anniversary tribute will be live on the Galaxy Stage and also streamed to the Celebration and Behind the Scenes stages. Is there just one line to get this wristband or three, one for each stage? Also, what would you guess are the odds for someone to get a wristband who arrives at 5am instead of spending the night?

Thursday night. I'm only attending Friday for Last Jedi panel.

This Reddit post should give you some good info on the wristbands.

They usually go through all of the Galaxy stage wristbands first, then move onto the over flow wristbands next.

Okay. I'm getting very worried.

Thousands of people are already lining up at the OCCC.

My friend just told me they sold out wristbands for the 40th Anniv panel at 11pm.

We plan to get there tomorrow between 6-8pm.

However my only fear is those attending Thursday AND Friday will have an advantage over us in getting into The Last Jedi panel.

Our bags are packed with gear. Got myself my Chewbacca onesie to wear for comfort overnight. Brought lots of snacks. Book to read to keep me entertained and music to listen to.

Nice! Did you have any issues getting wristbands? I heard there was confusion and volunteers had no idea what was going on.
