Nope no problems. Everything is pretty well-designed.
The only button that is a little challenging to access (not hard, just awkward) is the slider button at the bottom to take it out of sleep mode. But it's not like I'm using that constantly, so it's no biggie. |

I bought a kindle today. Very cool so far. I bought 4 books to get me started.
- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson - The Girl Next door by Jack Ketchum - The Complete Edgar Allan Poe Story Collection (only 99 cents) - American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis |

We got the Kindle 3 last week, and let me tell you BEST eBook reader EVER!!!
That being said, being in Canada though, just plain sucks. Apparentely, due to certain electronic agreements with other eBook sellers in Canada (Chapters Kobo) alot of eBooks are not available for the Kindle in Canada, which are available in the US. Most of the major sellers are exclusive to the Kobo. We looked at the Kobo and the Sony eBook reader, and they are too bulkier and harder to use. Plus their screens are not as nice and the Kindle 3. Wife has already said I am going to have to get my own and she has claimed it. ![]() I don't regret the decision though, however getting anything for this device is going to be much harder in Canada. Does anyone know of a good gel skin product for it? Something that makes it easier to hold and protect from drops. Something I can get off e-Bay that you have used and worked well? Really? How does that work? If you go to Amazon.com and buy the Kindle edition, will it check your IP address and not let you buy certain titles if you're located in Canada?

I received my first pre-order book! If I had known it was going to arrive around midnight I would have stayed up to read it! Man! I ♥ my Kindle.
The kindle skin for DecalGirl looks AWESOME! I wish though that I had put the LARGE piece on first THEN the small piece... the directions said to do the little pieces first. Which was the tab buttons on the side, and if I were super picky i would be bothered, but it is just that the images dont line up perfectly. But that is 100% an ID10T error... ![]() |

My wife bought me a Kindle for my college graduation and I LOVE IT! I have the Kindle 3 WiFi.
I bought a 2 covers and a separate book light, and they work really well. Book Light Cover 1 Cover 2 (Look at the "Alternate view" under "more images" to see the reason I bought it. ![]() Also, check out the Pixel of Ink site, as they update often with the latest deals on free and cheap Kindle books, as well as sales that Amazon offers... |

Kindle doesn't support .epub does it. I already have quite a few books in .epub format so no support is a deal breaker for me. It would be a shame since its probably the best quality ereader on the market.

And yes, Calibre is excellent! I've converted PDFs (which are notoriously fickle to convert) to MOBI very successfully using Calibre. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk |

One of my favorite things about the Kindle is the ability to read books on multiple devices. Last night I had to pick my parents up at the airport about an hour away and since it was dark out and I don't have a light for my Kindle I just synced my Ipod Touch with my Kindle and was able to read on the Touch on the ride home. Then when I got home I synced the Kindle with the Touch and resumed reading on the Kindle.
