I might be able to keep Flacco and give up Ryan instead in either trade scenario. Does that change your opinion?

Thoughts on those 2 trades?

Here is my current roster:

M Ryan
J Flacco
M Stafford

M Forte
R Rice
F Jackson
K Faulk
F Jones

G Jennings
M Austin
J Knox
J Gaffney

T Gonzalez
J Carlson

S Gostkowski

Bengals
I don't think I'd make the trade for AP. Right now you have some great WRs and aren't that bad at RB. If anything, I might consider a trade for a second-tier RB instead of giving up that much to get a top 2 or 3 RB.

His value is now through the roof, and a few Packers fans I've talked to think he's better than Grant. I think you'd be selling yourself short by giving him up for Ward.

I was thinking the same..maybe I'll wait a day or so and see what offers I get. I do want to unload him before the weekend though.

ok so this is not a trade but i need some advice.. Should i start Tom Brady vs the Jets, or McNabb vs the Texans... I was leaning towards McNabb vs the Texans as the Jets secondary is pretty scary

While the Jets secondary is pretty tough, they didn't manage to shut down the Ravens all that much. They didn't stop Boldin from putting up 110 yards last Sunday, and if Flacco could connect with Boldin I'm sure Brady should hit his targets more often as he's got better options. Even if the Jets manage to shut him down, there is no way they shut him down for 4 quarters.

McNabb's ankle still isn't 100% and he only connected on 15 of his 32 passes passes. Brady is always a reliable option in my book. If McNabb's ankle doesn't allow him to pass as much as they'd like they are forced to run, and Texas can stop the run pretty good as we saw over the Colts. If they can shut down Manning, you think they are gonna have a hard time with McNabb and a team he's still getting used to?

If it where up to me, I'd sit McNabb.

Nav, I agree with the above. I don't think I'd ever sit Brady for Mcnabb. However, I have Brady in my blu-ray league and am thinking about sitting him (this week only) because I just picked up Vick and Vick is going up against my Lions.

Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in matchups but you should never sit a healthy Tom Brady for Donovan McNabb.

2 questions for a PPR league:

Who do you like better for the rest of the year, Cedric Benson or Ryan Matthews?

Same question for Wes Welker and Matt Forte?

Point Per Reception. You get one point for every ball they catch.

Ah, in that case, Matthews and Welker. Benson isn't really a receiving back, pretty sure they pull him out of there on 3rd downs too.

With Mathews only one game into his pro career, I don't think anyone can really evaluate his long-term value.

Welker and Forte are pretty close if you ask me. Forte gets some pretty decent numbers out of the backfield and also catches 50+ balls per year. Welker is just a reception machine, and Brady is always looking for him. Tough call!

In my PPR league, I've been offered my choice between Cedric Benson or Brandon Jackson for Flacco. What do you guys think?

I should probably do it since I have Matt Ryan and Stafford will eventually come back. Can't decide which one, but am leaning towards Jackson since he is now the only GB RB.
