Default Has Zodiac Been Forgotten?

Seriously, what could Paramount possibly be doing with the repeated delays on releasing Zodiac? Waiting for a break in the case so they can update a featurette? Puh-leeze.

Does anyone have any info? I'm getting so sick of waiting I'm almost caving and buying the DVD.

You can't call a title delayed when it's never had a release date. A few websites had an October release.

Zodiac had two release dates in 2007, and failed to meet both.

You should import it! Ive got it, theyre in stores here in Denmark(for $50 thought like every other title:S), but it may be the best $50 ever spent! It was a blind buy, but WOW the best pq I have seen! And 4-5 hours of interesting HD bonus material! Great movie!

yea I bought the import as well. This to me was one of the best films of the year. The extra's on the disc are enough to buy it for me anyhow as I found it interesting enough to go grab the book

BD-Live should be able to take care of that.

I bought the import a few months back and am very happy I did - definitely one of my favorite flicks of all time now and well worth the extra $ on the import, especially with all the featurettes it has.

most anticipated blu by far, and I recently mentioned it currently holds top spot as my favorite movie period .

if it comes out this year I'll go nuts! This and Godfather are the only possible releases I can't imagine waiting until Christmas for.

I ordered the Dutch import and its great; well worth the money. I think it came to a little over $40 deliverd and got here in record time. As has been said, the extra features alone make this worth the money. That plus the fact that a friend of mine is in the film! LOL It's amazing how they recreated San Francisco the way it looked in the 70s with the use of mat paintings. I live in the Bay Area and remember when all that was going on, so the film has extra meaning for me.

I would like a domestic version sooner than later also, but as a catalog title that has already been released on HD DVD and import BD, I suspect Paramount is going to take their sweet time releasing it. I have a sickening feeling it won't come out until early 2009.

It's actually one of the rebate titles featured in upcoming Paramount Blu-ray releases (Transformers even). It's even pictured. So it should still be coming in the next couple of months.

I can't justify importing with a collection as small as mine is. I could use that same $40 to buy a couple of great BDs I don't have yet.

and as a huge commentary fan I'm dying to hear the zodiac one with fincher. I get more excited for it every day I don't hear it, I've been thinking about grabbing the dvd on the cheap just for it. still may.

?

Not in the US. Zodiac was released on HD DVD 1/8/08. Which was when Paramount was EXCLUSIVE to HD DVD.
