It's been a couple years and later that year I did find a few blus at DT with Fry's stickers. So I think some of us were hoping that more would make their way to DT eventually. But most of Fry's stock probably went straight to the landfill.

I found a good DVD this week, Black Torment, an old British horror flick from Redemption. Anyone else see any Redemption titles?

Went by a couple stores while I was out of town yesterday, and didn't see anything new movie wise. Two of the stores had maybe 1 box each (15-20 titles) with no blu-rays. The other had an endcap that had 4-5 boxes left. Mostly DVD, with a handul of Blu-rays.

I went to one of the stores locally today that still has a full endcap (12+ boxes). Mainly picking up Blu-rays for replacement cases, and horror DVDs I've passed on previously since they were .50 cents. Most of the stuff I grabbed today was Scream Factory/RLJ/Magnet releases.

The local store has a few Uncork'd titles. I went back and searched the thread, and found some titles mentioned, but are any worth watching?

I thought they had been closed longer because member Fidodido would do a weekly post of their deals. Those posts ended 4 years ago.

Here's the last one: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=321064

This sale isn't going to help my local store at all. They moved all the endcap discs to the regular electronics aisle and there they will sit, close to the floor, 3 deep, with no signage.

There were 4 Blus: 2 Houston Astros, 1 Bel Canto, & 1 of those xmas mood discs. The hundreds of DVDs were almost all their MGM exclusives. I did see a Mexican DVD of Upgrade that I didn't remember.

I found one blu-ray I didn't have while out of town which was Escape Plan (the Mexico release). I think the only other blurays I noticed were Nuclear (Echo Bridge), Tribal (Echo Bridge), and Quarantine (the Mexico release). Most of the DVDs were the MGM ones, although there were a few Echo Bridge ones as well. From those, I grabbed The Pharm (which was from Echo Bridge).

So far all the ones I've been to have signs up for the sale (usually little 3x5 signs in front of the boxes). Most all of the blus around here are long gone, the one earlier today that had 12 boxes probably only had 15-20 blus (mostly echobridge titles).

I went to one store. Looked like they had put there existing stock in new boxes.

But I went to another store that had not had anything new in maybe 6 months. And found this in the front.

I knew they were holding back since they weren't selling all those MGM and Relativity DVDs. They could have made dozens of more dollars off of me.

I walked away with this for $22.20

*dozens of dollars!*

Same. EDIT: Heck, I'd usually purchase something else, at least, when I used to search for BDs at DT.

Wow good for you. I have a feeling my stores are holding out too. Hopefully I'm as luck as you were. At least ones got to have a Drillbit Taylor or some good comedy.

Oh, snap! Yeah, I see the HD-DVD now!

Interesting! Hey, I still have my Toshiba HD-DVD player and fire it up every once in awhile. I'll adjust my sights the next time I'm in a DT, on the off-chance I can pick up a cheapie HD-DVD.

I stopped by two stores, but nothing new, and I just couldn't pull the trigger on the titles available (even at 2 for $1).
