There are too many crybabies on Facebook - why don't they have an old-school Home Theater Forum-style Q&A here with our distinguished members? If it's a numbers thing, despite the fact that it always seems to be the same 6 people who regularly post here, there are hundreds of others who mainly lurk. I think a nice and orderly Q&A would be good for 88 right about now.

We are happy to send a replacement copy out as we have told people who have emailed us, all we ask is that you send back your existing copy, fully intact (i.e. with a booklet and DVD copy). We cannot however cover the postage costs. The film is perfectly viewable in the first edition as the Mandarin soundtrack is a legitimate version but we do understand that some people may want the Cantonese as we originally listed on the printed parts.

For anyone buying a copy now, the newer pressing can be distinguished with a small V2 next to the barcode.

These are Hollywood Classics titles that we hadn't released before they went bust last year. They're still in limbo currently but we hope to have them released early next year.

We can't really say much more than that.

i actually spoke to an IT guy yesterday about adding a stock counter to the shopfront but it might take a while to implement.... apparently.

What's the deal with the Shaw Brothers films? Are some of the more popular titles not available because other companies have the rights?

A lot of their titles don't have an HD master sadly.

We could release some just on DVD but i don't think they would recoup their advances these days...
